The fact that it was brought to light and they didn't deny put a bad taste in my mouth for that brand.

Not that my opinion counts for anything but why create your own memory card? The excuse or reason of bottlenecking is tossed out the window when consumer's can get class 10, class UH1 or class UH3.
What it looks like is they designed their own cpu and it's proving itself so why not create an exclusive memory card option to capitalize even more.
And what about the price, seems pretty high for a not well established brand, imo.
Is reverse wireless charging an actual feature? Seem's like a redundant concept to me.

Lastly, has everyone already forgotten that this company has been caught cheating twice?

Gosh it is all getting up their in price. A high quality Cannon is half the price. In the smartphone camera stakes, ill be watching Pixel, pending-Nokia Pentia Lens and Huawei. Pixel so far for simplicity.

So many great things in the Mate 20 Pro are offset by dumb decisions like the ones to remove the 3.5 mm jack and the microSD card slot.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2018As well as you can clearly tell even on a phone screen how ... more"As well as you can clearly tell even on a phone screen how crappy a lot of photos look"
I'm sure 95% of average smartphone users won't notice or won't even care about the difference between "crappy" photos taken by smartphones and those taken by a proper camera, and that's why smartphones replaced digital compact camera for most people... They just care more about the ability to share the photos on Facebook more than the image quality.
And don't even get started with tripod argument, if I could be bothered to carry both a tripod and 14mm-thick featurephone running on a dead OS, I would actually just rather buy a compact digital camera with proper OIS. The whole point having a smartphone camera is that you can fit it into your pocket and take photos with it within a few seconds, IMO taking out tripod to take photos with smartphone completely breaks the purpose of smartphone photography. Why do you think companies like Google and Huawei are working on technology which allows the phone to capture photos with decent exposure under extreme low light condition in handheld?
