This is why i'll choose vanilla Mate 20 LCD screen. OLED screen is the main reason, looks good on first impression but unnatural, got many issues even on previously from various brands (tint issue here & there, burn-in).

Vanilla Mate 20 is the perfect choice for the price & performance ratio for me.

With Samsung phones, they are not having this kind of issues. So it will be best to bring your phone to any authorized service center of huawei and have this fix.

Would be easy to just go to an apple store an ask for a replacement unit though.

The LG rumors are for the XS/max, but it is not sure if are used on any of them. And nobody had complained about bad quality screens, so who knows.

For newer XS, i'm not sure wether they still using Samsung or move fully already to LG.

It could be as well be some bot responding... Well they got the answer - go to the service center...

Oh LG LG.They are really suck when comes to mobile displays. OEMs should avoid them.Only LG made phones have good LG displays.

Huawei should go back to the mate 10 pro screen. No glitches, no errors, no notch that apps aren't optimized for and no problem like seen after notch started.

Anonymous, 02 Nov 2018According to the post of Gsmarena some panels are from LG a... more"According to the most recent reports, Huawei has opted out of Samsung's screens and chose BOE for its main OLED supplier, while LG is the backup one. And the subpixel arrangement is easily giving away that switch." - GSMArena

As stated above, BOE is the main supplier while LG is the backup one. As such, the majority of Mate 20 Pros will use the BOE display while the minority will use the LG one. And as you just mentioned, BOE doesn't have these issues, only LG ones have. So to reiterate my point, the problem is more or less isolated and doesn't represent the majority of Mate 20 Pros.

                                  Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha, wow Huawei...

To the people who said that GSMArena deleted/didn't bother to report this issue because they're enjoying the tons of cash Huawei got, you're wrong. They're just perfecting the article. They took their time unlike the paid ones who didn't take their time, they just want their paycheck lul. I was going to buy a Mate 20 Pro since I have bone conduction headphones that doesn't need a headphone jack but I guess I'll wait.
