This is interesting, but that analyst has yet to prove his credibility. It's just the first launch. Yes, that title is very very misleading, I bet a lot of the commenters here who stated that ''Nokia is going down'' didn't even bother to read and just put down what they wanted in their mind. No official numbers yet, so we'll wait and see.

The big mistake Elop done is make Meego out, they should have retain "Meego" and also windows phone 7 apart then Nokia is always #1. till Feb'11 every one hoping that nokia + intel rocks with meego.. suddenly that's gone out of the scope. so no one digesting that. because of that all these comments about Elop. if he should have retain the both OS's every one should have appreciated him.
I like Meego and Symbian (symbian is just old but nokia gains market still using that)
we know old is gold

awww.... not a surprise!!!!!!! nokia tried very hard!!! they even paid many magzine publishers to label it as a fone of the year hahahah man... nokia is now destined to lose ,, i think their collaboration with google and these hugely sexy designs may pay off,, if they r willing to do soo,, nokia+android might revive the Finnish,, or they r Finished!!! :{

Really stupid for those have no try out the WP, then judge the user experience is not as good as Android. Those stupid guys just heard from the others. blah blah blah. Full of shit. Ya. I admit that android is not bad. But the truth is that the android not fully user orientated. Why? how many time that you press the wrong icon which staying close to each other especially with small size of screen? I can tell you, i press the wrong icon on an Android phone a least few times a days. Then i switch to Windows phone 7 and i do not remember that i have open the wrong apps even once. Just one little thing, you can see that microsoft do it differently with others. You guys just full of shit that say android have flash, dual core. WTF... Actually you do not know what is flash and what dual core actually do. You guys will find out that how narrow sight you have just because of some other people denying WP and you just follow what they are saying blindly.

I have been a window fan since its inception. Nokia never impressed me in high end phones. Window phones have been very stable and convenient to use.

I'm sure they would sell more units if you can buy them some where. No one is selling them.

This is what Nokia gets for saying they will take down Android. Stephen Elop also said the last 3 standing OS will be WP7, iOS and Android. Totally dismissed BlackBerry. The last 3 standing OS will be BlackBerry BBX, Android and iOS. And Samsung will take over the #1 spot in a year or so. I was a Nokia fan for many years. Hiring Elop was a BIG mistake!

Its headed in the same direction as I had posted in some other article before...worth posting again!...
Microsoft sends their agent to Nokia, he gets Nokia back to Microsoft, Nokia continues losing market share, it declares bankruptcy....Microsoft buys Nokia!! Winner - Microsoft for hardware know how, best navigation and camera knowledge ....has anyone seen Zeitgeist?? Watch it and you'll understand whats happening here!!

If Nokia wants to make money out of lumia WP7 they have bad time. They must regain the name and face first. No matter no profit they have to sell the more phone to popularize the WP7 phone.They must consider to sell LUMIA cheap like KINDLE FIRE.

I knew it, I said it, I did, it was inevitable. nokia n9 stands tall! and lumia 800 falls flat on its a**, only time will tell i said, at what do you know, time is here, right now and its not the bringer of good news for nokia is it? wp7 sucks and no one cares much about it! and even tho nokia is a great brand, surely they werent expecting that going via wp7 would save them? look at the n9, is still selling like hot bread and still geneating huge buzz. 500000? lol dont make me laugh!...oops i just did

Basically, Nokia should also launch android phones along with their windows line-up similar to Samasung and HTC.....
