Used Htc u11 and u11 plus both are crap phones that has screen issue and multitouch issue even Taiwanese they don’t use there own phones aka Htc. Samsung loosing market since galaxy S8 not cause of S9 Chinese OEM’s giving hard time to Samsung cause of there midrange phones that comes with high specs and cheap price.

Also the thing isn't about money when it comes to Android because who is the best will climb up there but for Apple it means a loss to the iOS and being their.
HTC is a smartphone company, they're aren't a conglomerate like Sony, LG and Samsung.
HTC are good phones but beautiful want to buy the crappy Apple.
LG have their own future building foldable and rollable for others and themselves and investing in MicroLED like Apple, Sony has their own MicroLED/ EL OLED from JDI/JOLED and Samsung is doing MicroLED/foldable and rollable OLEDs
Also the Chinese are doing with BOE and Tianma those things so the cycle goes on but back to the point, The Chinese were copying until they brought their A game to the market and innovating to make sliders for the phone and the notch existed before Apple with Sharp and Essential, technincally, it wasn't a notch but the camera only.
Yes Samsung is losing too but only this year because in next they will show their 10th anniversary Galaxy S10 and that will everything, just like when the people were waiting for the iPhone X and Apple lost the sales of iPhone 7/7+ so that's nothing.
What I meant to say that all of the companies brought/bringing something on the table, what Apple did do for that hefty price ??? They did nothing and that's they're losing

It is so sad too. A couple of years ago it was android phones that was killing it in the hardware department. Then they became dumbphones compared to Apple's speed. And now it doesn't matter.

1. Apple DID not contribute ANYTHING USEFUL; they only CONTRIBUTE in making smartphones as 'dumb' as possible in 10 years. Glass back, irremovable battery, notch, smaller battery, no expandable storage, ridiculous price hike, deliberately slowing down older devices, etc.
Look at Nokia; they went 'bankrupt' and all the remaining + new manufacturers keep 'innovating', Unlike 'certain' brand who claims themselves as 'innovator' when all their do is 'copying & polishing the existing technology, then patented it so they could sue the 'original 'innovator' to get money!
2. SD835 & SD845 'basically the same SoC'? ROFL....
My teacher said 'If u don't know shit, don't even try to do anything, because u'll show people how IGNORANT & smart(ass) u actually are'.
SD 835 uses 4cores Cortex A73 for the 'big' cores; SD 845 uses 4cores Cortex A75 for the 'big' cores.
SD 835 uses 4cores Cortex A53 for the 'LITTLE' cores; SD 845 uses 4cores Cortex A55 for the 'LITTLE' cores.
And the performance difference between those 2 (both big & LITTLE) are significant.
Heck, even the 'big' cores performance gap of SD821vs SD835 are quite big (excluding the 'SMALL' 4cores cortex A53).
Let alone the GPU performance gap of Adreno 540 vs. Adreno 630.
So, keep up being smart(ass), dude!

I will suggest Apple just supply it's A12 to android phone.
I might consider to buy it.
