LG patents a phone with 16 cameras and the software to use them

Arranged in a 4x4 array, the cameras will be angled so they capture the scene from different perspectives, which can be stitched together.

        Last week only, in one of the article here, I had predicted 10 selfie cameras & 20 back cameras on mobile phones soon. They are really reaching very fast close to my expectations!
        Instead of increasing no of cameras, they should really increase battery capacity from 3000-4000 mah to 12000-15000 mah.

          ah......lg u should put 16000mah battery for your next phone.

              Just the processing power alone required to interleave all those images together makes me seriously doubt this idea.

              Is it going to have a 10,000mwh battery on board? Dual SD8250 processors?

              Just because it can be patented doesn't mean it should be built.

                            Just put a portrait, ultra wide, and monochrome. It should be enough. Focus more on battery life, sound, and screen quality.

                                LG G7 has 83 from DXO Mark.
                                LG better improve their current products first, before they raise lens number.
