        I once had a Lumia 540. The phone was not that bad. But am not sorry for Microsoft. They literally killed the OS with their own hands. Android is currently the king!

          Sad to see this happen. First touch I had with windows phone (windows mobile back then) was original Samsung Omnia. And it really had a lot of features for the time when it came out. I also wanted to try out newer Lumia once, 930 if I remember correctly, but I just didn't go for it because of lack of some apps, and I think that is the main reason why Windows phone didn't do well. I liked UI, it was something different and new, and it's sad to see it go. Hope it will be back some day.

            I have Lumia 520, now as secondary Phone. Still working great.

              I don't care about Windows Phone but please keep Windows for computers forever. I'm die hard Windows fan. Mac OS and Linux aren't for me.

                I did use Windows phone 4-5 year, 8 have used Android phone about the same time and iOs a Little bit longer.
                Windows os for phone was just fine! The app support just was no good at all.

                    I was most happy when Nokia had Symbian and they had their own identity. When the MS mole Elop was sent in to take over, that's where it all went down hill for my favorite brand. I chose to never support WP for that reason. I was always hopeful a third OS could compete and give consumers more choices... WP, definitely was not it, even tho there is nothing else out there. I refuse to give them any business for what their head guy did and I am glad this day came to pass.

                            When was it not obsolete??
                            WM was popular only before Android and iOS appeared on the market. (when EVERYONE had a Nokia - as in Symbian mopping the floor with WM).
                            We should all be hating Windows because they killed Nokia. Now Nokia it's just another china brand nobody cares about..

                            Linux is the best!

                              IOS should be next.
                              With many countries which send them to the courts to pay many fines and attorneys and many else such as patents etc. they will either bancrupt or will sells its bussiness.
                              Either way is good. Anyway more than 90% of population which have smartphones have android device.

                                    Microsoft has killed Nokia to end that way?
                                    Bigger industrial failure I have ever seen...

                                    Or the intent was to end Nokia without any more purpose.
