I really don't see the problem with the prices. I mean, you can have your device for 780$ at launch and for 600$ in a few months! The Galaxy line is like the porsches of phone, of course they are super expensive and not for everyone. We can buy anytime phones from A or J series.

The price was expected imo if its better priced than XS Max its only €100 more and you get double storage, triple RAM and double cameras all which might be better than XS Max and it might even be 5G but its too close to rumored price of Galaxy F €1800

Samsung wants to dig it's own grave apparently. They fully want to embrace Apple's business strategy, but don't realize it won't work quite the same way for them.
The thing about Apple is that there's no alternative to that platform (iOS), so users stick to it irregardless of the crazy pricing & compromises in specs. Samsung phones on the other hand can easily be replaced by some other premium branded Androids with little to no compromises.

The 'normal' S10 with 128 GB seems reasonably priced.

Jesus Christ, buy it yourselves man.
I'd pay around 400 for a well spec'd device.
That's why I picked the Mi 8 (other choices would be OP6/T, Poco F1).
Over that I think you lose A LOT of value.

The thing here is very simple.
If it's too expensive for you, don't buy it and go for another model or brand that is cheaper. Ranting about the high prices won't change anything. To really make a change, the customer must stop buying expensive phones. That will send a powerful message.
Remember, deeds matter way more than words.
