I would take any given day, a 3300mAh battery phone, that "knows" how to manage it... over a 5000mAh battery phone that has worse sw to manage power. With that out of the way, one of the few things Xperia does right is power management, so numbers are there just to keep discussions like this one going. Just like camera quality an MP count. Cheers!

Dan, 31 Jan 2019XZ3 had 3330mAh so they increased battery capacity by 1000m... moreCorrection. Xz3 had a 3100mah battery. And in a much more compact body too. Larger components, thinner body, etc.

Xxz3 had a 3300. And like the recent ones was way too underwhelming of a capacity for the device size.

It's about time they start stepping up game somewhere

Style, 31 Jan 2019Now Haters will find out some other bullshit excuse to hate... moreI always see fanboys like you talking about haters. But in actuality all you almost ever see on the Sony pages are the comments like yours for no reason except being in denial of the facts people are stating. And then in the end it becomes evident that you are the ones spreading the hate

Style, 31 Jan 2019Now Haters will find out some other bullshit excuse to hate... moreProbably the price. Lacking 3.5mm jack as well but to be fair almost every flagship lacks on these days.

Good Job Sonny for 4,400 mAh battery which should give us about 5 - 6 hrs battery life test.

Note 9 with 4,000 mAh last only 5hrs 21m though.
                  https://youtu.be/WohCuSb3dsM

It would be better if all 2019 Flagships are given at least 5,000 mAh battery as Android is so hungry for power.

I believe it will be single camera. Unlike other vendors, sony mobile dont develop camera, its sony semiconductor and solutions (the sony company that sell camera sensors to all smartphone vendors) . I remember sony announce their first dual camera sensor on february

and then april XZ2 premium arrived.

Then xz3 rumored to sport that dual camera sensors and we all upset. We still dont hear sony announce triple camera.

Yup, 16:9 is more practical for thumbs. Being 21:9 or 18:9 doesnt make any significant difference for your thumbs, both way too unpractical for mobile use.

And become even more ridiculously over priced and still lack ois

This 21:9 ratio allows us to see more content estate, and it isn't making our lives any harder because from what I've previously said in one of my replies to one of your comments, you shouldn't really buy a phone like this if you're after a compact experience. Sony still has the Compact lineup, and the report about them axing this lineup is just a misinterpretation by the people who reported it.
The man who said this statement only tries to say that they're going to incorporate the new trends of bezel less designs into their current products, and that's even a good thing because the compact lineup might even benefit from the bezel reduction.
