- Apple can't get market share above 20% (can you imagine 20% of all the people in the world to afford buying 1k+ euro smartphones ? - (i wish everyone to have such possibility but unfortantly this is not true)
What is the marketshare of Huawei and Samsung in highend segment ? Why we don't see statistic like this ? - Such comparision and analysis is similar like comparision (just an raw example) between Porsche automobiles and Volkswagen (1st build only premium , 2nd has larger portfolio).
- Decline in shimement in Apple devices - talks good for the brand itself dont you think so ? Many apple users - still use their iphones aged 3-4-5+ years old. Just think about quality when it's not broken do not change it right ? To use android device on other hand for more than 1 year means literally you don't care about speed and performance at all.
Apple should not be at same chart with other manufacturers (with general data shown here - it's just missleading the audience) . Apple made totally different products from all of other "players in this chart" unless comparision is made by price range.

Mobile Phone sales are tanking, across the board Android or iOS. Its only logical to see this behavior, decline shipments, but increase service profit.
Specially last year release, XR / XS + Max all high priced phone. Normal iPhone series (iPhone 7 / 8) is delayed to a 2 to 3 year cycle. Once that cycle ends, ie. iPhone SE 2 or iPhone 9 release, you will see a surge in shipment yet again.
Plus you need iPhone, to use apple watch / apple tv / mac / iOS / apps / services. All tied you down, extremely hard to move platform once user is invested.
So Apple failing? iPhone no longer selling? Never.. not gonna happen. Mark my words. Come back in 3 years time, see if this comment still holds.

Meh, I'm still never going to buy another iPhone (the worst experience I've ever had with a smartphone - more like dumbphone). The only thing that gets any close to using an iPhone is when you're trying to use a windows in guest mode.
As for huableah, why should I pay almost the same amount of money (or even more!!) for the spying replica that has lower specs when I can buy the original this wannabe brand is so desperately trying to copy?
Only Samsung or Sony for me.

I think Huawei is doing the right thing by growing organically across segments instead of focusing on flagships alone...this sorry of mitigates the buyers fatigue of changing mobiles frequently or cost of mobiles ever increasing. If someone who had bought Mate 10 Pro wants to upgrade without pinching hands yet to get taste of latest ToF goodies, he can go for H20View, after an year or two he can choose the flagship Mate 30 or 40 Pro....without losing his pants and shirts...this switch in iOS ecosystem is not credible (very expensive XR having outdated spec is one example)...this way Huawei is taking care of their potential growth issues in the future...

1. Apple gets 30% cut of all in-apps purchases... Just imagine all those mobile whale gamers.. how much those mobile apps are earning.
2. They develop metal api, smooth gaming, all these make sure aged iPhone still perform well even after 4 years old. Meaning it still takes years, maybe even half a decade before they will drop in user base.
3. The phones they sell, extremely high priced, YET it still sell!
Android makers, Xiaomi.. also took jab at Apple.. Yet this beast is still kicking at number 2 slot.. Now Xiaomi is getting the heat.. because of another low cost high quality maker like Huawei.

huawei will become no.1 premium in 2019.in india..this massive growth in 2019 Q1&2 is due to high prices of samsung and iphones...BUTQ3 it will get major push by overpriced OPPO & ONEPLUS 7...people when compare price of oneplus7 pro nearing mate30 pro, will choose huawei..only one brand can survive the assault ,it will be Xiomi....XIOMI note7 pro always no stock...poco f2 will be king in mid premium...

This is what you get when try to sell less innovative products in a market where the consumers are starting to be aware/educated. Apple cannot fool the market customers any longer (well, except in the US where customers are easily being fooled by nice advertisements that Apple make). While almost all brands in the market are upping their game and introducing new big features (eg. Huawei Super zoom), Apple is going backwards and only introduces small incremental features that android have been using for years. They can't even improve in their low light camera performance which is a shame as Oneplus, Xiaomi, Google have already surpassed them in that field where they used to rule.
What Apple did year-by-year is focus on advertising. Man, the world is not like the US and we dont just depend on your ads to buy your products. We watch reviews and research about your products before buying them.
Im not hating on apple here. I used to buy their products up to the Iphone 6S and that is where their innovation stopped. Other brands just started to do better while apple only focused on marketing. This is just sad. Love from India.
