Anonymous, 01 May 2019Perhaps they should really rethink about this whole $1k+ fl... morethis is about shipments, not just flagships
But the truth is, most people have what they need. The market is maturing. The days of overnight lines waiting for a release moment are gone.

Anonymous, 01 May 2019I heard Huawei were also good at dataming and sending info ... moreThey call me old fashion. I only like one spy group at a time. Unlike the states where there is the CIA,NSA,ATF,FBI,ICE and an orgy of alphabet agencies listening in. I really don't think a 60 year old redneck in MS driving an E99 powerstroke will do them much good. But you never know. I could teach em how to hunt whitetails. But someone as important as you I can understand.

Apple make great phones (I have the iPhone XS Max) but will agree Apple is getting ridiculous with it’s iphone pricing and believe the price has is the majority of the reason!

SilentAsian11, 01 May 2019I still don’t understand how does huawei grows in china wh... moreI'm not convinced these stats are accurate. Samsung said they shipped 78 million units, so that is wrong. There's no way Huawei has jumped by that amount.

Ggbruh, 01 May 2019True...even the mi 9 is better for videos based on techtabl... moreThe oversaturation and red hue in 4K recording on P30 Pro is not caused by the color science, but it's actually the codec issue. In fact when you watch the footage on Huawei phones/Macbook, the colors look absolutely fine.. This is something Huawei needs to sort out in future update.

The reason for this decline in new sales is very simple. The smart phone has reached its maturity. There are no big advances in its ability, so people are keeping what they have a little longer. Changes in contracts are now needed to keep things turning over a little bit like the car market. Give you some incentive to trade in for the latest model.

I too, once was an Apple fanboy, then a Samsung fan. I then purchased a Mate 20 X. Best phone I've ever had. The haters in the states have no idea how good Huawei is. Well you don't miss what you never had I guess.

Anonymous, 01 May 2019Adding more cameras to a phone is not innovation. Adding AI... moreBy your logic no manufacturer is doing any innovation. I wonder what would be innovation for you? you talk about new hardware available as if that hardware develops itself and is just there waiting for you to use it, and as if attaching that hardware didn't require any effort to make sure it synergizes and works well together with what's already there.

Sach, 01 May 2019I think the term for that is Market inflation or market...h... moreI always wondered how come people can be fooled by those flash sales. It seems so fake! But the world still has lots of naive people. And whats funny here is lots of Indian are praising Huawei when Chinese people always look down upon them. Indian is supposed to be full of IT geeks. Look at who are at the top of Microsoft, Intel and Apple development team! India it is time to wake up. Why not make your own phone and maybe your own processor and much more.

SilentAsian11, 01 May 2019I still don’t understand how does huawei grows in china wh... moreI think the term for that is Market inflation or market...hmm..I am not too sure but there is a term for that.. Like Xiaomi with its flash sale, same goes for huawei. those chinese companies really coined how to do business. in short they inflate their numbers by 'buying' their own devices and showing how much they 'sold'...Lets called them 'ghost devices'. So people will flock more to huawei seeing those numbers and be like woooowwww. and huawei has unlimited funding if you read the news...........
