Don't you see that the Samsung fans disagree with the removal of the handphone jack? Even if Samsung removes it, they are the second last major manufacturer to do so, unlike Sony who jumped on the bandwagon much earlier.

The Zenfone 6, on the other hand, even has an additional customizable button, which would be very practical.

The only people this is good news for is LG. They still seem to care about the headphone jack and generally have high quality sound on them too. So this might send more people LG's way

Capacitive buttons instead of physical buttons is acceptable. No headphone jack instead of a headphone jack is not. Smartphone manufacturers keep removing useful features and the smartphone sales continue to shrink. But they just can't see the connection it seems

Everything's backwards these days. Mid-rangers (At least in terms of price...K20 pro and Zenfone 6 can also be considered mid-rangers) are for power users these days, while flagships are for fan-boys who only care about the camera...

If Samsung is really going to remove the headphone jack on the note 10 on the launch event, then i'll not buy the note lineup anymore in the future. And yes, always remember the motto:
NO HEADPHONE JACK=NO BUY

Finally!
Samsung was single handededly allowing for the 3.5mm market to continue existing. By now headphone makers are out of reasons to not make quality USB c headphones.
I expect fanboys to be shattered, but that's good , almost everything they hate is actually good for the world, they represent what movie villains want (regression and despair)...
