Samsung Galaxy Note10 will come with physical buttons after all, but no headphone jack

01 June 2019
Samsung did test a design without the physical buttons, but it didn't pass the company's "rigorous testing."

Why !!?? Headphone jack is really useful sometimes!! I still need it sometimes for my Beats studio which I still can't replace it and get the same audio quality !

You guys can complain all you want with the removal of HPJ, people will still buy it anyway and it's no longer a need for rich mainstream consumers. Many manufacturers have already jumped the ship and welcome Samsung into the no HPJ squad. I guess they just wanna be in the trend. I'm not defending these guys cuz all the reasons for the removal aren't logical at all when it only takes up so little space. Same thing with microSD slot (although funny that Samsung got retaliated for that). However, I can still live with the OK solutions such as dongles and bluetooth.

Next time Samsung will leak: It will miss physial buttons and USB. And then "Nah... only the USB".
Next time will leak: It will miss physial buttons and Pen. And then "Nah... only the Pen".
Next time will leak: It will miss physial buttons and Cameras. And then "Nah... only the Cameras".
Next time will leak: It will miss physial buttons and Display. And then "Nah... only the Display".
Next time will leak: It will miss physial buttons and Phone. And then "Nah... only the Phone..."

and then say "no, only the headphone jack".
Quality to money until now, wired is irreplaceable.
"For a $1000 phone what is $300 for wireless h/p".
First you don't know how hard someone makes his/her money.
                    Second, it's 1/3 of phone's value.
Third, for $300 you buy ultra high definition wired ones.
Samsung first has to make their wireless buds to be worthy of hearing.

Samath N8 808 owner, 01 Jun 2019Guys, I have a question. Can there be open 3.5mm magnet ... moreYou do not need a magnet attachment. Just use the dongle that usually comes with the phone that lets your play your wired headphones through the USB/lightening charge port. Leave the dongle on your headphones, end of story.
Do not understand why people make such a fuss about losing this port. Bluetooth buds/pods are also excellent nowadays, get a pair.
