Here's why the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ don't have a headphone jack

That's not the reasons, these are shitty excuses. They could have made the phones 2mm thicker and accommodate even larger batteries.

Anyways Bluetooth headphones are not so convenient. I use one for doing jogging that's all. Most of the time I prefer wired. I'm a "'lossless freak", all my music collection is in flac. Why would I accept the sound to be degraded by a stupid wireless connection ?

People, it's not about not being able to buy bluetooth headphones, it's about the convenience that wired headphones offer: one less thing to charge, no audio delays/dropouts, no need for dongles, etc... and especially, they are killing a standard feature.
It's like all glasses wouldn't have any temples anymore (the little bars that go over your ears) because "don't you have a nose to rest them on?"

SD Cards are secure if encrypted, Also if your cloud storage is down how do you access your files??
SD Cards will always serve there purpose for those with common sense!

And then I ask them, was that even practically necessary? A 100mAh won't keep the phone up for even an hour, and if you were to vote between haptic-feedback and headphone-jack then I guess the latter comes home quiet easily.
The only option left now are the mid-rangers, which have everything we need, including a justifying price...

Real reason: Greed.
Samsung overpaid for Harman International and needs to start selling shitloads of high margin crappy BT-headphones.
That's the real reason: profits for shareholders.

Lame excuse from Samsung that only gullible people would like to believe. I'm not buying a phone without a headphone jack unless all audio equipment in the world (microphones, amplifiers, receivers, karaoke players, bd/dvd/cd players, home theater components, speaker systems and recording studios) are no longer using them and are using instead wireless/bluetooth connections, or using USB C wired connections. It's utterly insane to remove headphone jacks
and force them to die when they still don't have a standard, universally accepted wired replacement. The only plausible
explanation for such removal is to sell annually disposable overpriced wireless/bluetooth headphones and earbuds that fill the planet with electronic wastes year after year. Same with those disposable smartwatches that have even shorter life than smartphones.

Most of the comments are about the jackless design. It seems this new Note model has no killer feature to offer to people, so they could speak about it, that's a shame...
Galaxy s10e is the most appealing model to me in this generation of Samsung's falgships.

Kangal, 08 Aug 2019Here's the thing, the Headphone Jack is great for: - audio... moreregular people won't spend $1000+ USD. on a phone especially knowing most of the cheaper phones out there can perform very well and look similar for "regular people"

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2019To all those people crying over headphone jack . If you are... moreMaybe we can't be bothered having to charge headphones as well as a phone? Bluetooth headsets are therefore inferior. REFUSE to buy a phone without a 3.5 mm headset port.

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2019Soon LG going to drop headphone jack wait and you will see. Then LG would be hell of a loser. They don't have a good business in recent years, they might get some market share if they stick to the 3.5mm jack. if in this case they can't grab this chance, they should seriously sack the marketing department and fine them with hefty amounts.
