"whereas telephoto zoom, I'd say having a picture which is far off and having it closer but still not clear doesn't make sense." what a lame logic!!! That's the real job man, you don't have the courage to do it! Use better and faster lenses like Carl-Zeiss f/1.8, a large sensor like 1/2.3" 12MP and a capable image processor and deliver sharp, clear & detailed telephoto (5X zoom) images. Or are you expecting to do it for you or are you ready to copy the idea!!!

An SoC is much more than Processor, SD855 has lot more than just a faster Processor, I am sure his comment is laughable when he equates SD710 with SD855
When Redmi Note 7 Pro launched with 48mp camera, this guy tweeted / replied officially that his company doesn't believe in high megapixel but on image processing. Now he brings same 48mpx in less than 4 months and that too with 4 rear cameras... and most funny part is, now he says phones with even 1 camera give greatest... so then why he didn't do same with his latest phones?
His answers about Android OS and Custom UI seem so incorrect and confusing, to me atleast
His response on Selfie camera series seems too misleading or irrelevant
So in short, as per him what Realme does is all greatest, but other brands are fooling customers... Pixel and Nokia have unstable Stock Android... Pixel, Samsung, Redmi and others shouldn't bring SD855.... Telephoto Zoom phones are not better or useful, but Macro camera are better and useful (LOL)

I am guessing you have never used the Asus Zenfone Max lineup or the Mi A series, all of which have been plagued with bugs since they were launched, with every new update, in addition to resolving those bugs, bringing more new bugs! So much for an “optimized” software

So Redmi note 8 series will come before Realme XT. I remember how he flaunted about the fact that realme would be the 1st to bring the 64MP camera to india 1st.

c,mon man, simply say Snapdragon 855+ smartphone is exclusive to China, why you are even comparing it with a mid-ranger and who said you Stock Android is not stable? one side he is admitting that a single camera is doing batter then multiple cameras and another side he neglecting the Stock Android. For your kind information, that single-camera Pixel 3 smartphone runs on Stock Android. I didn't expect this kind of bullshit talking from a tech company head.

i think what he is trying to say is:
- stock android is usable, but lack deep optimization with hardware it was running on, they want to make a custom rom/os that use the full power of the hardware
- 700+ processor is enough for 90% of what the user do daily, yes 800+ is faster, but the money saved on using 700+ can be use to make cheaper phone, add better camera etc

I have used stock android phones which lag like hell and custom skins which are smooth af. It's just about people who don't know about Realme phones speaking crap about it.

As an Indian I'm so saddened that this CEO gives a preference to
1.a macro camera rather than a telephoto lens
2. A SD712 over S855
3. We don't need too bloated shit like colour os,Oxygen os is the sweetspot for Indians on not being too stocky and bloaty at the same time
