But their current substitutes are just on par with the US counterparts. They don't even need Google services to survive and that shows something! Unlike the rest of the world who are so dependent on the US. Think about it. And that's the control that put China in safe hands, unlike where all the gun firing issues are happening in the US. When you are having a population blooming issues, it's time for the government to control the birth rates. Your comments shows that you have no idea how the world works sadly.

By that definition, u didnt even know how Gpu Turbo works. Most of the GPU Turbo analyzed reviewed (anandtech, etc) are not 100% reliable. Theres one part that they missed out. They analyze about it on the built-in Gpu Turbo device, not with or without the patch, therefore how to compare? Experience it yourself then comeback to me.

            DSLR faking. I stand by my point. So u think Samsung's camera ad dont do it before got caught? Please, i can see it by my naked eyes, be it on every branding (Huawei, Apple, etc.) After the A9 faking bandwagon got caught, every newer Samsung ad put small watermark 'for illustration purpose' which means they still keep faking it but with excuses. To be honest, thats how marketing works, and i never fall for it. But u seems ok when it comes to Samsung.

            Moon Mode. Again, u have no right to justify it without experimental yourself. Firstly, Moon Mode works with Master AI on, off and even in Pro Mode. Secondly its a simple photographic methodology; exposure, focusing, shutter speed, metering, clarity enhancement at works. Kinda u take photos of light bulb (macro) near distance & far distance shot. Far distance, blown on highlights, near distance, can even see the light bulb filamens. If the claims of applying another texture like Snapchat does, try turn on Master AI & take a photos of spotlight source in a dark room. Zoomed in, AI mistakenly detects it as Moon Mode, capture, the results wont have any moon texture! Because there are none on the first place! Try put a sticker on a moon image on a monitor, turn off light, again AI detects moon mode, capture, the sticker remains intact! No overlapped with any additional textures on it! Strip the camera apk yourself, can u find any nasty moon texture image? None! Ok ok maybe u thought it gets by online, turn on Airplane mode, Moon Mode still works! And if your claim they updated the non faking method by an update patch, the Moon Mode still works until today, like day one. Eitherway the end results still looks messed up & digitally zoom of course, unlike DSLR optically zoom. But calling it fake is BS. Like i said, research about it by yourself.

            And thats not all the details of it, because like i said, wasting my time explaining about it. U seems smarter, but only when it comes to Samsung.

              I don't like Chinese phones, same as the other products I bought from China. The quality and materials used on their products are below standard compared to other manufacturers like Nokia, Samsung etc. I wonder where are all the fake phones coming from.

                                    GPUTurbo is GPUThrottle. Your games are actually being played at a lesser resolution and framerate. But you "feel" it's better while the CPU/GPU are actually too weak to run properly.

                                    Moon lies are real. It's not "RandomGuy101249" from YouTube that makes it untrue.

                                    You must not mix up pictures for illustrative purposes and pictures designed to be deceptive. When Huawei got that actor to make promos for their pictures, the ad was designed to look as if the pictures originated from a Haweii phone (the person was in a "selfie" position, everything being conveniently framed to really look like it). Not the same as using stock photos on a webpage to illustrate how Live Focus works.

Huawei even indirectly admitted to single digit improvements because they only claimed a couple frames' increase in a certain game, that was the only truthful slide about GPU Turbo before they added the asterisk.

                                      No, far from one guy. The first guy who exposed this got fired promptly due to political correctness in China of maintaining Huawei's holy image, but afterwards three other independent media outlet who first called him a scam apologized because they were able to verify the results. Those people have some backbone, it takes guts to apologize, it takes much more to be working in China and apologizing to somebody who was crucified for rubbing almighty Huawei the wrong way. Also there was a thread on XDA with some people posting proof. I can't comment on how your experiment went or your Youtubers but it's entirely possible that Huawei removed the offending code without an apology and the units you experimented on have already been patched. It's happened during the more recent Taiwan Independence Gate, but it doesn't concern you if you're not a Chinese user. OTOH it's also entirely possible for even self-proclaimed photographers to make mistakes during tests failing to trigger the fake texture, I've seen somebody claiming to be a wedding photographer making very, very weak and amateurish arguments regarding image quality, and posting a poorly done Youtube video as his "proof".
