How do you guess my emotion through a comment and how dare you judge me based on a single comment. Now to clear your confusion.. a tablet cpu isn’t a desktop cpu .. it is infact a mobile cpu. And bout what you gussed about me.. no , neither i am exorbitantly rich nor i am proud that I own the cheapest ipad in the market right now. It’s just that i am fascinated at the benchmark that apple sets for the whole semiconductor industry

Vegetaholic, 04 Sep 2019More like 2, ipad pro is very powerful in cpu and gpu perfo... moreEhhh no an iPad isn't even remotely close to an i9 and a rtx 2080, you guys are so blinded by apples fancy words, I wanna see an iPad run no man's sky at 4k 60fps... Oh wait it can't even come close due to the almost instant throttling that occurs in a tablet or phone body, that's like having a 1000hp car speed limited to 25mph

Aslipundit, 04 Sep 2019Not really. It was fabricated on a 20nm process for the SD ... moreSamsung made them in both 20nm and 14nm (Exynos 5433 and 7420). They did it better than Qualcomm indeed but still, you'd better use A55 as they are more efficient, especially in a smartwatch.

The X1 in the Switch is throttled a lot. It runs "only" at 1GHz. Official specs from NVIDIA says 2GHz is possible. The GPU is throttled at 300MHz. Docking it gets you 700MHz but no CPU boost. The true X1 can have its A57 go to 2GHz.

The new Switch revisions have a 16mm X1. Still throttled but with drastically improved battery life (we're talking about 2x the battery life). I wish they'd turn up the GPU clocks a bit... Oh well, hopefully the "Switch Pro" does that any gets more modern cores too (10nm Pascal GPU and A75/A55?)

Still redmi K20 pro for 350 euros will be equaly powerfull on geekbench as Note 10 plus 5G by Samsung for 1500 euros enough to know.
              Rest have no sense.

mine is faster, newer, powerful, has more threads, processes more....

AnonD-558092, 03 Sep 2019Oh no you don't want anything to do with the A57. It was th... moreNot really. It was fabricated on a 20nm process for the SD 810, which was not efficient enough for the architecture, resulting in heating, throttling, performance and power consumption issues. Samsungs implementation of A57 cores was pretty good. Still better than some mid range chipsets in 2019!

A57 cores are also used in the Switch as well, with a variant of the Tegra X1.

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2019Your the one bragging about your iPad being faster than any... moreActually the 6th gen iPad has the same cpu as the iPhone 7/7 Plus - Apple A10, so technically, it is still a ‘phone CPU’. That just goes to show how far ahead Apple is when it comes to the ARM chips that even an almost 3 year old chip is still ahead/at par in single core performance to the latest Snapdragon chip (Latest Exynos comes closer to the A12 Bionic though in single core).
So when the user expressed their bewilderment at that very fact, it had nothing to do with bringing anyone down, instead appreciating the development of tech.
Why can’t we all acknowledge any company when they do something good for the advancement of tech instead of fighting which company is better like little children? The back and forth argument is so childish and so last decade. Unless one owns stock of a certain company, how does it even matter who did what? It’s like having silly measurement game as to whose is bigger. Jeez.

Having a benchmark that tests the full range of available and future hardware is what a neutral benchmark worl should do, it definitely shouldn't be optimising the footprint for one specific brand, just to sell confirmation bias-synthetic nonsense.

Its also the reason why anandtech didnt use GB as a metric but for comparisons only.
