why doesn't sony go away for at least 12 months and come back with 1 true flagship and a couple upper-mid rangers? releasing a "flagship" every 6 months at those ridiculous prices ? how is that good for business?

6.1" is compact for gorilla I guess. And why do they put 4k on a puny screen? IMHO 1080p is good enough for phone, phablet, tablet whatever, any higher than this is just stupidity show off, and that thing drains power like crazy

Probably not, cause their insane aspect ratios only make their phones narrow and uncomfortable, while keeps them big. 21:9 Is always small for those who enjoy big displays and big for those who enjoy small phones. Completely useless and insane.

And now Sony upped the ante to 2160p while others stayed in QHD and FHD, they still got trashed... wtf?

You can try this hold your phone in portrait and try stretch your thumb to reach the next side of the screen see whether your thumb can easy move to the position. If yes it is a compact phone. Slightly 2~4mm taller isn't a problem because your pocket must can fit it because it is smaller than all those big screen/phone. I think your using a big phone right now (market has no compact phone anymore), can it fit into your pocket I just curious! I want to hear you say it can't fit in your pocket please..
