The price cut because of the lack of Google Mobile Services? Excellent, more deGoogled choice to choose for. Only people who are way too dependant with Scroogle services will straight away deem this phone as DOA, not knowing that there are actually a lot of Android smartphones out there running on custom AOSP-based ROM without GMS at all.

So for instance, P40 will be the successor of P30, not P30 Lite.

                  Really wish that there was p40 lite cheaper than p30 lite i would have upgraded because for me google mobile services is just bullshit i dont use it anyways and am happy that at least someone is giving Google competition even if they are forced to do so.

                          So many mentioned a work around, which isn't a possibility for most. Not saying it's hard, but few would go into a store and purchase this. Be surprised if it even sells in Europe.

                              It is still overpriced while at the same time being too risky of an investment.

                                So, in other words, P40 Lite, P40 and P40 Pro, just like P30 series but only with a name changed. Gotcha!

                                  And with that the P30 Pro's price will go down even further down, even though it's literally under €600 (excluding in many carriers, but why'd one buy from them anyway) for one of the best flagships.

                                        Last years top model P30 Pro - 1000 euro, this years top model P40 Pro Premium - 1000 euro.
                                        If you change the name it doesn't mean that it got cheaper. Top model of this series will cost exactly the same.
