How the f**k antutu still exist in their appstore lol

This phone is intended for people who is obsessed with apple and on limited budget to buy new iphone, the model is so outdated and the screen so small. I use iphone xs and this got smaller screen than that. I can't even imagine how can people play games with that size of screen

Makes sense; Apple would've been dumb to give the SE the same performance of their far more expensive flagships (though they did in 2016,but I digress!). Having said that, the A13's power is redundant for most everything anyone wants to do on a smartphone, so the SE's performance will probably be sufficient for anything you want to do.

I don't think that it is underclocked. This phones hardware is no on par with CPU. since antutu considering them all, it is natural this phone scoring low.
        However this is sd855+ level.
As everything outdated except cpu, this phone is not worth the price tag is has.

How did you guys come out with the conclusion that the chipset is underclocked?
Antutu reports 2,6Ghz, GB the same. And we don't know the GPU frequency.

This can be just throttling due to the smaller chassis.

Complete scam ? This phone will perform better than throttling master samsung galaxy s20 ultra that cost 1500 euro.biggest fall in 2020 s20 ultra with exinos chipset and gimmicky numbers

anonymous, 23 Apr 2020You say this, but do you even use your phone to the full ca... moreYes of course. More than full capacity. I use my android phone to control my cable tv box and other appliances, listen to the radio during commutes, play movies and music using headphones on the go, screen share Netflix series downloaded on the phone to hotel room tvs while travelling, take as many 4K videos of outings and special occasions due to unlimited storage expansion, take high resolution photos of people and landscapes in dim and bright lighting, select and connect only to the desired LTE bands I'd like to connect to, make my phone as invisible hotspot for sharing mobile data without others seeing the hotspot name/SSID, store office, work files, personal and other music and media files without storage limitations for work, play and workouts, interface with computer peripherals to comfortably type documents on the go, use as offline dictionary, offline encyclopedia and offline converter to research stuff even in a zero signal area, attach a digital tv dongle to the USB-C port to turn phone into live, mobile, digital tv, use phone to find map directions, read aloud news stories, all in addition to the usual playing games, reading ebooks, editing photos, shopping, YouTube, banking, browsing on social media, and calling and texting using two separate networks for home and work (dual SIM). All these I can do for while not needing to carry a charger because 4500mAh is such a big battery you'll likely not going to empty even in a day of very heavy use. Can the $400 iPhone do even half of all these? Nope. That makes the iPhone's value proposition and real life usefulness EXTREMELY POOR to me, and many android users - yes even at its record 'cheap' $400 price tag.

5% slower than 11 and 10% faster than XS. How is that closer to XS? Does gsmarena need a calculator?

Even the slowest A13 score is faster than the A12 found in premium products like the iPad Air , coming just under the iPhone 11 - it's all good.

                                  iPhone 11: 517.400
                                  iPhone SE: 492.166
The Snapdragon 855 SoCs in Android phones have bigger fluctuations in performance. Even models (with the same chipset) from the same manufacturer.

"On paper the iPhone SE (2020) appeared to be a combination between the iPhone 8 body, iPhone XR camera,"
No. It's iphone 8 camera. Iphone xr has a bigger sensor with dual pixel AF while iphone se has pdaf

It hardly makes much difference. Not that anyone's going to use SE for heavy gaming. The other usual apps work just fine on even mid range smartphones, so SE will have no problems running most apps, and even after the tweaked performance, its still quite fast when you look at it, at a price that can't be complained about
