Thing is, many use not because they think it is important to the users, but just because the other brand is doing. This is why ppl now have to pay fpr useless things like 512GB storage, 12/16GB ram, 2Mp macro cam ......

(Where do I know this? I own an A50. I have tons of games in it. Impossible for a flagship to be worse than a midranger)

144fps while gaming will spend much more power than 60.
Ppl complain how expensive flagships have become, but will be demanding 480Hz screen in 2024.

Still most games are limited to 60fps, no matter where you play.
Many phones do not keep up max framerate .
Samsung has this issues, not just s20 series.
Among "non gaming phones", OnePlus and Sony are the only flagships able to keep max frames for games. If the game is 60fps, they will be often between 58-60, while other will run between 48-54.

Just because qualcomm can't integrate 5G modem in the flagship soc they want to charge so much!!
And then these sick OEMs enable qualcomm by buying their Soc at these prices
Arm Mali gpu is competitive now based on what I see on the for the dimensity 1000+ iqoo Z1

I already have the RoG Phone 2 and I'll stick to it until 5G is truly a worldwide standard which also means, cheaper flagship chips.

Not CPU issu... moreThen these developers must recode the physics to work just as fine in 144 fps max. I remembered FPS being tied to the physics of the game just like the old GTA games with frame limiter options.
They have to do something to future proof their games if ARM really is the future for every processors used on the world. I could be playing those Mobile games in a PC that's no longer powered by x86/x64 but ARM in a few more years.

Not CPU issue.
Also, unless the device has very strong cooliing system, phones in less than 20min already lose performance.
Instead of buying a phone with 875, better getting one with 855/855+ and buy an ipad Air for games.
