Janinelson, 04 Nov 2022I have submitted a complaint to the Federal Communications ... moreI would be interested in joining a class action lawsuit against T-Mobile for their fraudulent claims. My husband and I are senior citizens and retired, so these problems are a matter of health and safety for us.

We signed up with T-Mobile to get a good trade-in on iPhone 14 and initiated our account just before traveling on vacation. When we got home we found that their coverage map is not accurate and today a T-Mobile tech support guy told me he works with DIFFERENT maps than they use for marketing. By his map, we have no service. In fact, we can’t even use Wifi calling reliably. This sure sounds like fraud to me. How do I join a class action suit? If I cancel my account they want the total retail price of the phones to be paid with no credit for my trade-in iPhones; it was the high trade-in (combined with assurance of equivalent coverage) that got us to switch from Verizon in the first place.

Do not even think about switching to T Mobile. Their service is terrible and when you cancel your service you can't even get your credit balance on your account back. I have been trying to get a refund for 4 months now. All they do is give you the run around.

I've been with T-Mobile for over several years now and it just seems like it's just one big nightmare we were trying to go out of the country for vacation and get our phones temporarily unlocked even though we have an upstanding account and they said that they could not do that..

Janinelson, 04 Nov 2022I have submitted a complaint to the Federal Communications ... morePlease update. T-mobile worked great for the first 2 months, then the started "modernization". We worked from home. Service so bad we lost THOUSANDS of dollars in less than a month. Husband has had to go back to a regular job because we don't have service at our home anymore. Called multiple times for answers and got the typical run around. I actually even had one person tell me he was surprised I ever got service and to not expect to have service in my area again.

weasel, 19 Sep 2022i have only been with t mobile for 2 months and i have had ... morePlease read my post concerning my accepted and acted upon complaint to the FCC about T-Mobile's fraudulent business practices.

I have submitted a complaint to the Federal Communications Commission concerning the following:

T-Mobile sells wireless service to residents in areas that the company KNOWS that they have little to no coverage. THIS IS FRAUD.

The complaint was received and immediately acted upon by the FCC on October 31, 2022. The information the FCC received was my documentation as to what I endured as a result of the lack of service because T-Mobile did NOT have the coverage in place to provide adequate service.

Both the FCC and I are awaiting T-Mobile's response. The FCC has given T-Mobile a 30-day time frame in order to respond.

In addition to the FCC, I also sent all letters to T-Mobile and all supporting documentation to six national media outlets. I am taking this entire issue of T-Mobile's fraudulent business practices to the Court of Public Opinion.

I am reasonably sure that what I endured with T-Mobile is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg and many will be joining me in my sentiment that T-Mobile's fraudulent business practices must come to an end.

The customer service 8s all foreigners with T mobile, unlike Sprint. They aren't addressing any of our needs, bothered me to DEATH about changing sim cards for employees. Its completely a nightmare since TMobile took over. I went to Aprint to escape T mobile's evil little sister, METRO. Had I known this merger would occur I'd have RAN to ANYONE ELSE. Sprint was AMAZING before. We had the Sprint Magic Box to improve service. Now it's horrid without it. They just dumped the people that needed those. It's apathetic lie they fed us claiming they'd take care of us Sprint customers.

I am so glad that everyone here has the same problem I have I live in New Jersey travel all over the state and ever since Sprint was bought by T-Mobile my service is horrible. Not only is it bad on my personal phone my company used to have Sprint and now all the phones are T-Mobile and our company phones don't work either. I have called numerous times to tell them about their bad service and I get the same party line that other people have gotten of oh once we're finished switching over the towers it'll improve... However now here we are the end of 2022 and had absolutely no improvement in my service. If it didn't cost so much to flat out cancel I would.

Oh all these comments are so true.
Since T Mobil took over Sprint the service has been horrible. Losing calls. Not receiving text.
                          Not able to make calls.
Multiple trips to local T Mobil stores. Which don't get me anywhere.
They keep saying switching all towers over, done by end of year. They think we all want to keep waiting. And waiting .
It's unbelievable!! It's like there's nothing that we can do. It's not right.
I see it's see it's happening in different states. This is in Virginia.
I have a Samsung phone. Thinking it was problem with it also.
Wish Better Business or someone could check out T Mobil. They are taking our money but not providing service.

Sadly a once great cell coverage is now poor. And Website is so slow it is hardly usable. Barely works at my home. 20 years ago everything was great. Then 5+ years ago problems, dropped calls, usable voice quality, missed calls & messages, sometimes can not call out at all. T-mobile sent repeater boxes, nice fixed problems for a while. Now repeater box only has 0-1 of 5 bars, most of the time (was 3-4 bars).. Appears that rollout of 5G, is killing 4G LTE coverage, and/or 5G cell upgrades have caused problems. No solutions from T-mobile in 18 months of complaints. Same thing happened with Verizon 20 years ago, they over sold service (too many phones for # of cells), and coverage got poor. Switched to T-Mobile, a small company that cared. Now T-Mobile is the 900lb monster, that does not care. All T-Mobile effort into marketing, not customer service. Appears T-Mobile marketing has oversold services (too many phones for network to handle). Good service when it works, but not near my house anymore. I live in a Twin Cities MN suburb, T-mobile coverage map shows complete coverage at my home, which is not true anymore.

I agree! We were with Sprint for over 15 yrs and last few years...had best service and coverage ever. No issues and no dropping service. With TMobile, hotspot service is terrible and service drops a lot - several areas not covered even though they say it is. Their advertising is very misleading!

We have had T-Mobile for over a year now and I call customer service every week. Sometimes a couple of times a week. Our service is going off and on, dropping calls, losing connection and neither of our elderly parents can get ahold of us nor can our children. Supposedly, we were told there are 5 towers close around us and they have technical guys working on them. Who can we call or how can we get help getting this company investigated? We can't keep paying for service that works periodically and is unreliable...

I’ve been with sprint for over 18 years never had a issue until the Network from hell T -Mobil bought sprint so my service is real bad in Floida. I took a trip to Puerto Rico everywhere I drove in the island my phone was working BEAUTIFULLY there are so many phone towers I had all my bars where lid up, 5G no problem. I come back home WTF I was so angry that I smashed my phone in the airport parking lot. Luckily I have insurance coverage told T-Mobile that I lost my phone. Switching to Verizon

i have only been with t mobile for 2 months and i have had enough lies. there is no service in northern wisconsin nor will there be any. there are no towers in northern wisconsin so there map coverage is boggiest. to get out of contract it will be 2000 to cover the 3 phones i have so basically stuck with paying for 24 month and no service. stay away from them if you live in the north woods
