Chinese companies are different story, they run business very differently. For all the old big Android companies profits are around same.

You can add the whole world to it , to justify the price . But if you will read your own comment carefully you will feel stupid. If they were really investing all that money , how would they become biggest company?
Every company does rnd . On more and different kinds of smartphones. And cost of software development?? Really??
Even $100 smartphones get 2 updates . They dont even earn $20 billion on app store every year.
I could go on and on. But if you are smart you will get it.

What you said was true like 4-5 years ago, but nowdays the hardware is so good that it won’t get old like that, performance stays great for many years

But that may hold true in certain countries where Chinese brands deploy factories in countries such as India, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Often, they use cost saving methods and skimp on QC. They tend to rush in production. Components concerned, they are not cheap in comparison. It's the workforce.
This also skips or cuts tax costs. There's also the reason they launch models every 6 months. It is not a sustainable practice but that helps them to gain more revenue. Also the adware and cheap software they use.

People complaining about the iphone's price which too high including me;). The answer is very simple, don't buy them if you cannot afford it and go those less expensive or chinese cheap phones. Iphones has flawless software updates until five years while all android phones has two years updates only. So, you get what you and stop making drama and to much bla..blah..blah..NOTE! I'm using galaxy phone and ipad:)

That are che... moreWell explains how difficult it is to get replacement components for Chinese flagship phones. In SE Asia where there are lots of Chinese phones, flagships components are hard to come by.
Lower end phones are cheap because they are not assembled in China, but the QC is terrible.

Most ppl change iphones after 2 years since the phone starts to slow down due to software. And no the battery works fine.

That is the reason why smartphone market going to be ruled by Chinese companies and Apple.
