DxOMark gives the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra a lower score than the S20 Ultra

The firmaware used was AUAC, a very early launch firmware that was significantly worse than the much better with significantly improved across the board camera centric AUB9!
They did bad, so bad that they even forgot to remove EXIF from all photos, and i already downloaded them and have the evidence, good luck with their credibility, this is a 3 version behind firmware!

I'd rather trust GSMArena's review than DxOMark who are literally cash for comment. Seems like Samsung didn't pay enough this time!

Despite being the worse among all phones from 2020.
S21U so far was not reported having same issues. But score is lower.
Check this: phones that reviews come out on same day device is announced or few weeks later get high score. Devices that are tested months later (like 3-4 months after sales started always get lower score).

Phones with 2x zoom, but exif shoes digital zoom from main camera in daylight.
Phones that can record 4k60 being used 4k30 or FHD30.
Photos of main camera using 1,2x digital without necessity.

Please make a comparison of Note 20 Ultra, S21Ultra and iPhone 12 Pro Max. I have already checked S21 Ultra vs Note 20 Ultra, but i also would like to see comparison with iPhone and another phone if u consider. After today's DXomarks results i trust only your site for smartphone camera comparisons.

As usual, total score of DxO can create arguments & misleading. I know S21 Ultra not the best (go read review here & Anandtech review), but rated it below S20 Ultra is weird indeed.
Maybe some of the Samsung firmware create problems? A lot user in the comment section complains about camera error that it uses digital zoom instead of an optical zoom at 1x, 3x and 10x.

People write comments as if they were the one who did the testing. This was lab testing not human eyes and imagination about their findings. Even some samples were compare side by side to have a simple judgment. You guys should stop thinking otherwise DXOMARK reviews were lab tested reviews.

Just browsed the comments on their "review". They do not disclose anywhere what firmware was used, their defence in the comments gets even more comical when they will only say "we used the updated firmware for the day we made the test". So, they didn't use any updates confirmed?

The s21 ultra is arguably the best camera phone available at the moment after the mi 10 ultra and Vivo x60 pro+ but they ranked it lower than the incomparable s20ultra?? Even if you disagree with the camera quality there's no way it's worse than the S20ultra dxo lacks credibility.
