Samsung should be clever, provide uncertified firmware that has latest camera improvements in the first place to be reviewed.
At the moment, theres a certain firmware version that makes main & the two optical lens to force digitally zoom, which makes it a lot worse in quality. More like Samsung's fault, a QC issue.

Even without OIS , it produces the best nighttime shots , it is bright, detailed, and noise free. Dxo should have used the Mate 40 Pro Plus for comparison, but i was hugely surprised hy the Mate 40 Pro main camera at night, and the dynamic range was unreal

Mate 40 pro Plus and Mi 10 Ultra are better. S21 Ultra night time photos and especially videos are bad in comparison. Without night mode, they are noisy oil paintings dark mess. Mate 40 Pro Plus don't even need night mode to shoot great night photos. Mi 10 Ultra night mode is good. Mi 10 Ultra video stabilization is insane good. And the 5x zoom cam have much larger sensor than S21 Ultra. And 2x zoom is more useful for portraits than 3x. Mi 10 Ultra only falls behind in selfie camera. Mate 40 Pro falls behind only in video and colours. But,S21 falls apart in night, night video, detail, noise

So, is the better camera in a new "Ultra Ultra" model? Oe maybe "So Ultra you won't believe it" $3000 model.
When is a "Pectea" M1 Apple phone coming? There got to be zoo better word than Ultra they can use, maybe Zoom Zoom, Glossy Peacock, or something, not Value! The Value, not by Samsung.

That section was looking at the colors and only the colors, that's why they have that colored umbrella. What you ended seeing was the different white balance, something that wasn't being tested on that particular section, that's why isn't mentioned.

Their reviews of any phones I've owned have been very representative. Most youtubers have very little technical knowledge and just give their personal opinion as to which photo looks better whereas Dxomark is more focused on the technical quality of the picture. Consumers can use both types of reviews though to make an informed decision if they are interested in cameras

Phones should be tested as they are when the box is opened. That's what is sold to the customer. The day one firmware should be reliable in every aspect. Samsung rushed (as others do too) and the result is what it is.
No one buys something trusting that it will get better. We want what we paid for as soon as we get our hands on it.

The S21U has much better Zoom and AF, yet it scores lower than the S20U?
The S21 has Laser AF will the S20U doesn't yet it scores lower than the S20U🥴
Plus 10x Optical Zoom is better than 10x Hybrid Zoom from the S20U yet again it scores lower.

The fact remains that Sammy can't out perform their camera photography they known for either now or in the future. The company needs to get a well known photography company to do the magic for them just like others.
