Xiaomi really wants to blow up our houses.

Can we please stop it with the race for charging speeds and have actually better batteries instead?

      Wtf?
      I wonder if it's necessary.

Wereweeb, 08 Mar 2021I assume these are already graphene batteries. Older batter... moreI agree. I have heard of those other materials and I understand the research has been difficult but man am I ready for new battery tech that lasts longer in a single charge and has way more cycles...

          Here is the irony

The only known smartphones to have actually exploded have slow charging like the galaxy note 7

Or even the few iPhone that were reported to explode all slow charging

It just seems that with electricity history just repeats itself

These comments sounds just like the people that said mass electrocution was gonna happen when electricity was "invented"

Just bring the charging cable near the smartphone and boom fully charged !! ;)

              Anonymous, 08 Mar 2021SD775 = 1 x 2,7GHz + 3 x 2,4GHz + 4 x 1,8GHz. No menti... moreProbably a77 , like 765 used a76 while 865 had a77.

                Exelent news. Well done xiaomi.

Dometalican, 08 Mar 2021Good Lord... My opinion though, I'd rather take new... moreI assume these are already graphene batteries. Older battery tech wasn't able to withstand 40W charging, not to speak of 200W charging. Remember OnePlus having two batteries in one in order to make a model with 60W charging?

Personally I'd much rather have battery tech that focused on energy density and life cycles, rather than charging speeds - and that requires different materials. Last I heard there was talk of sulphur, solid-state and/or metal batteries.

If it lasted three days but charged slowly, you could just leave it charging overnight almost every night, and not worry about battery at all during the day.

Then we need an extra nuclear power plant if all Xiaomi users charge their phones at the same time 🤪

No mention if it has A78, A77, A55 etc..

in 2025 Xiaomi Phones - Just plug your phone and wait for 10 seconds. Fully charged.

                              Good Lord...

My opinion though, I'd rather take new battery tech instead of charging tech at this point. I really want to see graphene batteries so this fast charging tech can merge with it.

Samaparr, 08 Mar 2021Why do ya'll hate fast charging so much? Heat kills... more"These fast charging cells use HUGE separators to avoid this, that's why they tend to be smaller (4500mah rather than 5000mah)."

I'd take 5000mAh battery with 25W charging over 4500mAh battery with 200W charging any day of the week. I have no desire for ultrafast charging but I don't hate it either, but at the point they need to make the battery smaller to allow this kind of blazing ast charging, it's time to stop.

I also like how you dismiss everything I said all because I've owned the device for 13 months.

I guess the masters degree and hundreds of hours of research means nothing because "Kek" said so.
