Been a xiaomi, samsung and an apple user. To tell you honestly, i would rate Xiaomi as the best in the battery management among the 3. worst would be samsung, they just starting to improve this 2021, as a lot of complaints . So i guess he just created his own opinion and pass it as a fact. which is pathetic.

same here, I still have my redmi note 5 pro and still use it as a primary phone when i have to travel and I know that i a have little chance to find a charging port, It could last a day and a half, with light calls and music. the battery management is a monster, sleep with 4 % and still have 3% to spare, unlike my S20, you better have at least 10% before you sleep or you might be running late your alarm would not be turning on, haha.

My first and last time was with Nokia Lumia 830 that the progress with the warranty took 6 months and in the end they didnt fix the problem and cause new problems and i didnt get my money back or a new device so i save my nerves and buy new phone under 200 euro. If a phone last me 2 years it's already a win for me. My redmi note 5 ai dual cam have lasted 3 years and i cant see why it wont last me more 1-2 years before i need new phone cause battery dies or something like that. I will buy my next phone probably same from aliexpress or from sites like that.

LAW321, 09 Apr 2021It's so funny to see people are concerned with only hi... moreIf these updates are so important for you then you should be smart enough to know how to flash a new rom on the Xiaomi phones and you get updated your phone for 5 years and with these new roms you dont have these ads problems too. I have used 3 years Xiaomi redmi note 5 ai with SD636 and 3GB ram. Only thing i cant do with it is play games like Asphalt cause they have updated there game so much in past 3 years that the came dont run smooth on it anymore. Now the phone cost me 170 euro 3 years ago. With same hardware from Nokia there phones cost 350 euro 3 years ago. Like whoy would i pay double the price just for clean OS ? Never mind that i dont have any problems with ads or i just dont understand the ads problems these yellow pages fans are spamming in every comment under every news like thats a fact and these make the user experience as hell.

It's true that, in their web site, they'll probably give you 1 year only. But if the product legally comes from your region, it doesn't matter what the web says. After one year and until the second is over, you can claim at your nearby consumer office if you have a problem and where the product comes from, they will have to face the guarantee if they do not want to have legal problems.
Anyways we are talking of cheap phones that probably don't worth take extra actions after one year. And is very rare that once you get it, if it works perfectly for a whole one year, it'll fail later unless you accidentally broke it.
It's nice to give people alternatives so they can learn and find the best they can purchase with warranty. With caution, of course, and only from trusted platforms that grants you your money back if you are not agree with the product or you get a fault one. Never buy a from a website that can't not be identified physically, have a public legal warranty in your region and clean long reputation. The seller directly or the platform in between you and them. The money back must always be guaranteed. ; )

1. What timely updates and commitment to OS upgrades you talking about when most Nokia phones still running on Android 10? Even their most expensive 8.3 just got Android 11. Add to that the rushed and buggy updates being pushed out, you now know why people are moving away from Nokia.
2. You showed how clueless you are when you said Chinese phones are full of ads yet don't know that Samsung is also pushing ads now in their phones. Even flagships like S20 are getting ads in Galaxy apps like Weather and Appcloud. Maybe the Samsung you using is still running on Touchwiz lmao.
You put trust in Nokia and Samsung but don't even know what is really happening. People like that are called sheep.

The matter is find one from where you don't have to pay customs. There sellers that sell you through Asia and Europe. Here we have the luck to not have to pay customs for tech devices that cost below or equal to 150 euros. Anyways if you purchase from someone that have facilities inside your economic region it will not cost a cent extra to you. So is a matter of know how to search and where to buy.

No amount of updates can compensate for poor hardware like slow chipset and low quality LCD. And don't be so quick to believe Nokia's claim of giving timely updates. Most of current Nokia phones are still on Android 10 despite Nokia always claiming to be "No 1 in giving updates".
