Sony publishes full year report, PlayStation is doing great, profits from Xperia phones improving

It's an average brand which is struggling to stay afloat in this big bad smartphone world.
Sony has 1% of the number of 📱sold by Samsung and about 1200 million Android phones were shipped last year.

Sony smartphones barely reaching the million mark in a single quarter.

TVs are also performing poorly compared to Samsung.

mostly is the cameras, if you care for this. better display, slightly smaller size and weight, and generally feel & look (again, if you care for).

this is similar to the tech they put into xz premium to make the organic (not interpolated) 960fps superslowmo, and see how such investment on r&d made superslowmo possible on other brands...
i always thought xperia handsets are prototypes of other brands - too few, "not so polished" in the eyes of others...

Sony is all about quality. Even my cheap five years old headphones work fine till now. Had PS2 and Xperia Z3. They worked well too. But that doesn't mean that Samsung and Xiaomi phones are bad. They are great too.

Impressive that they manage to make profit for smartphones even in this hard times .. seems like it is a wise decision to merge it under electronic division..

Hope they can keep the steady momentum going forward... And still waiting for xperia 8 for international markets..

Also, demon slayer movie is quite famous eh? Well it time to catch up with the story I guess.

- better screen, creator mode, SDR to HDR playback
- faster RAM, faster storage, longer software support
- better photos and videos
- the better cpu provides better internet connectivity
- stereo audio, Cirrus Logic audio chips
- cinema pro, photo pro, cam button
- heat suppression

Only advantage of 10iii is the fact it may score higher battery endurance.
I do not expect less than 115h when gsmarena tests.
