Noice looking pictures, but this is always the case for marketing material..
Even if these are taken by the 1 III, the photographer is, most likely, a professional using RAW output.
On the other hand, if this is point-and-shoot.. wow
I have my mind set on 5III, or if the cameras are good enough 10III.

The high price and long wait (why announce a phone when it's not going to be available for at least 3 months) will kill the Xpera 1 and 5 stone cold dead before they're even launched.

Anyways, it depends on the photographer.
People said same to Xperia 1 II that it's bad and worse than galaxy and iPhones and it was proved they are wrong in certain conditions.

Never let the general public be the deciding factor in getting a device. Galaxy sales are up but that doesn't make them the best phone for everyone.

- I dont know about others, Huawei using Auto HDR (when it needs to) not HDR all the time.

- I'm aware of it. Inconsistent. Auto in Xperia sometimes triggers it, sometimes dont when it needs to. Clearly its scene detection are not clever enough.
'Why do you think 10iii gets auto HDR but 1iii and 5iii do not? Eye AF, the burst with AF etc .. Photo Pro disables burst when person turns on HDR. 10 series has Night Mode, while flagships have 30s shutter'
- Thats not an excuse, people not use burst mode all the time. Plus I heard that newer 1iii had burst with HDR.

- Huawei has higher DR stops than Xperia even without using HDR, without sacrifice details & consistency (Xperia soften & smudges image in HDR). What modern phone does on computational does make phones gain high DR at least on JPEG. RAW will still be hardware limited. And even by that, a lot of other phones has RAW along with using bigger sensor than Xperia, which again, because of that, gain higher DR.
