Not the best design of the world but if the price is right, I might change my Note10+ for that (I don't use the S pen anymore)

Your thumb cant reach top and bottom of the screen if the phone is taller. 148 mm tall is a lot for the thumb to reach. 68 mm wide is not so big of a deal and especially when were talking about maximum 2 mm difference that is nothing for the 68 or 69.8

Last year they had to excuse of external modem taking extra space and hence they ditched the jack. This time there's no such issue, so it might be making a come back. Also, gsmarena specs are all wrong. It says 90hz display when Asus itself teased 120hz display. Don't believe the specs, they are just copy paste from Zenfone 7.

The flipcam phones had really limited availability, Zenfone 6 was always out of stock everywhere, and Zenfone 7 didn't make it to most of the markets (even USA and India).
It's already been hinted that Zenfone 8 series will make a comeback in India. So let's hope other markets get it too!

But ATH M50x is able to trigger the DAC for me without any other connector or anything. Yes, for Sony I using a bypass 3.5 mm connector. But still, I can say it will be sufficient if Asus will provide a dedicated DAC. And If these headphones or iems wont able to fire ASUS latest DAC, I am very much happy to spend money on Headphones and IEMS if that worth spending. Thanks for the Info.

It feels like Asus will fill the void created by LG (and Sony in some markets). They clearly have better knowledge of the smartphone space than LG (or Sony, who has just woken). I believe there's no 'mini', but simply vanilla Zenfone 8, and maybe an 8 Pro, which might carry telephoto. The third one is definitely Zenfone Flip.

A really high quality DAC is a niche among the niche; majority buyers are not gonna be able to take advantage of it.
