Too late as the market is occupied. From past experiences, power of OS has nothing to do with popularity. Web OS, Windows Mobile or BB, they are not that bad just that there are no takers as users can opt for only 1 mobile OS.The choice was given to iOS and Android. Full stop. Even Kai OS is giving way to Android in India now.

I doesn't matter. Why is Huawei banned in several markets?
So, the same reason that is affecting the hardware will choke the software, even more quickly.
It can be a hell of OS, but in terms of traction outside China...
But, we should wait and see.

We (the world) needs alternatives to Android OS and iOs (anything Apple). This is a beginning. I'd be more inclined to go with something Linux but beggars... Since Google went to the 'dark side' and Apple has always been evil. Alternatives are NEEDED. (don't even think of it... Amazon!).

It has a compatibility layer that can let it run android apps. If you know anything about cross platform compatibility. then you should have known that how different HarmonyOs is.

EMUI was designed by huawei and so is HarmonyOS. HarmonyOS is supposed to make the life of an average consumer's life easier. Things tend to look the same when they fork the UI that was created by the same company.

Not a fan of Huawei but as long the most popular apps are available in their OS, not much of a difference.
