(Roughly translation will like that: "Companies must unconditionally share user privacy with the government when it be consider as a threat to the country by local authorities"
    Secondary reason is one of my cousin work for Huawei over ten years and he tell me “DO NOT USE ANY OF CHINESE PHONE IF YOU HAVE PROBLEM WITH CCP". And he only use Apple / Samsung devices.

      if those chinese companies sell a powerful phone with headphone jack, modular, has removable battery, has sd card and has open source hardware so that you can install any os into that phone, then i will be the first person to buy it, believe me

        Yeah, my decision not to buy/use a china brand is purely political. It has nothing to do with racism or anything related. Purely political.

                              That is an absolute BS. Anti-Asian racism is the actual problem prevalent across the world (including US and some EU countries, for instance France is notorious for it) and doesn't occur just because Asian people are "mistaken as Chinese". It is an undeniable fact that many people simply look down Asians as a race and throw them slurs or insults on a street just because they are who they are.

                              The idea you're trying to promote in this comment section is not only inaccurate but also very dangerous at the same time - you're underestimating the real issue that is threatening everyday life of hundreds of millions of people across the world and brushing it off like "Nah, this is all part of China's plan". Go take your disgusting propaganda somewhere else.

                                Lenevo - beats Apple per computer sold
                                Asus - outsells EVGA
                                Samsung - outsells Pixel's by great numbers
                                TCL - outsells Vizio TVs by huge margins
                                Canon, Nikon, Fuji - all ran US-based cameras companies out of business e.g. Kodak, Polaroid, etc.

                                Germany, Japan, S. Korea Auto - Foreign automobiles numbers are very close or better in the US than its domestics companies.

                                On and on.

                                So, I'm not seeing this blindness on how the US is hating on competition, mainly from fans of Huawei, and if anything, it's the opposite because history says that is just not true.

                                  The ban coincided with the big Huawei conference. It seems that the US administration is afraid of the strong rise of the new HormonyOS, and not its fear for human rights and the words it always uses for domestic consumption.

                                      and if anything this ban will help huawei and chinese brands locally (china is very ......erm....."patriotic" to be respectable) as iPhone still ironically has a large share in China for some reason
