Like if your opinion matters haha the US isn't the world it's just a fraction of the world they need to understand that.
Now I know who to work with and who needs to be sanctioned, starting off with Google, Microsoft, Netflix and a 100 more.

This will only result in the Chinese to be more self-sufficient. They will end up being able to build everything from scratch. It is better to be able to sell them stuff because that way they can monitor what they are doing.

Finally some good news. After all China is the greater polluter in the world. We are stuck with their crappy products for years, plastic buckets, millions of tonnes of plastic buckets. Cheap watches, imitations called "homage" lol etc. Good decision.

It is very scary to be in an uncertain position. If the US bans ither Chinese mobile phone companies too, then what will we be stuck it? I certainly can't afford the over-priced iPhones and non-Chinese phone companies do not release high-end phones at affordable rates.
Why doesn't the government ban Facebook for the same reason they banned Huawei? Hmm!!!

Just means American investors will miss out on growth in the biggest market in the world; hurting American short term and long term. Total household wealth in China in 2020 is $81.4 trillion to USA's ~$110 trillion. To think banning American from investing in China will hurt Chinese companies is laughable.
