[deleted post]Not saying that I like Biden myself, but at least this guy seems to have more human decency than the previous president who, after losing the election, tried his best to cause harm to random companies that he didn't like personally (e.g. Xiaomi) and while dragging down the reputation of his own countries even further in the process. And China invested in who?

Why you all thinking it is about phones? Huawei was accused for working on face recognition software and hardware.
"A Huawei patent has been brought to light for a system that identifies people who appear to be of Uighur origin among images of pedestrians." This is the most important think. They let Chinese govt to spy and bully minorities.

You can spend enough amount of money for Oppo, Xiaomi, Huawei or any other well known Chinese companies to get good quality stuffs from them.. it's simply that you had always been too lazy to do so, hence you can only blame yourself.

LOL ... the USA and its spy accusations sounds like a joke. As if Apple and Google did not spy with the huge amount of data they obtain from their users.
And while Huawei continues to launch new devices and even a new OS (based in Android).

Dineshwaran, 04 Jun 2021any how to me Chinese quality is not too great.It really depends on the manufacturing specifications required for any product "Made in China". Iphones are also made there, but obviously the quality is great because it is made under the manufacturing specifications required by Apple for quality assurance.
The fact that you find a lot of shitty Chinese products is because these are made with zero quality requirements, with cheap materials and not complying with us or eu engineering standard just to serve a certain purpose on the cheap.

Sure chinese quality is decent, but often features have poor execution. But Huawei is different, even though im sceptical of them they make great devices. No Argument there, plain good
