Long software support = introducing Android features already existing for a long time.

        [deleted post]https://www.statista.com/statistics/1199168/reasons-why-android-users-would-switch-to-iphone-12/

” What are the reasons you would switch from Android to the iPhone 12?”

55,9% voted longer software support, yeah no-one cares :D

it’s just the fact that you guys keep saying no-one cares because you aren’t getting that long software support you are actually getting very pathetic software support.

In reality everyone wants their product to learn new tricks overtime. It just makes you feel like you got lot for return for your money. i’m still rocking my iPad Pro 2017 and it will get iOS15 too, such a great product still and when i get this kind of support from the company i’m also very likely to support them with my next product. Apple wins if you use your device long time and also wins if you upgrade often. Android OEMs are only losing if you keep your device long time because they don’t have ecosystem to make money from current users, that’s why Android OEMs aren’t giving you long support, it’s just bad business.

That’s propably big reason why people are hardly buying Android high end phones anymore, just not worth of money and people been screwed enough times.

Kingslayer, 19 Jun 2021Correction: PiP works for Netflix but not for Tubi and Peac... moreI was 100 - 0 in favour of Android 🙂. Now it's 50 -50 after 11 months of iPhone 11 Pro Max usage.

I've been having the pip feature on my Samsung ever since I bought it 2-3 years ago. YouTube app can be played on half the screen or in pip which is by the way, resizable. Both options are resizable. But pip is even older. on Android because my old Sony phone had it with VLC (non-resizable)
I'm not here to choose sides even though I I would never use an iPhone, not to mention pay for one. It's software is too limited for me.
Also, I couldn't care less who is using what phone brand. There's only one person that matters and that's me :)
            Peace, h8ers! ✌️

Anonymous, 19 Jun 2021I will never have the YT app on my iPhone.I have an Android phone and I still don't use it. Maybe rarely to look up some scene from a movie or something.
I prefer Vimeo, it has more professional content.
YouTube is just TikTok from Google nowadays, that's how bad it had become.

[deleted post]Not really. It was up to Google to enable the feature, and they dragged their heels.

If anything, Google knows Youtube's days are limited. It's a dying boomer platform.

No wonder they only look at specs.. but give excuses and have no idea why their phone lags.
