Half of changes are just visual that hav... moreThis is the thinking that stop them from actually changing things: 'You just dont change something that work'. You need to change some things to bring some other new ones. Otherwise, the operating system will never evolve (because people are not eager to learn new things or discover new features).
Also, we were in such a need for a visual overhaul that brings back the consistency of Vista days..

Useless update...
Half of changes are just visual that have no much sense. And other half is just... its even hard to remember few seconds after reading changelog...
You just dont change something that work, most of people still bring back old start menu, and moving it to center is illogical and messy, most of users have looooots of apps running at the same time so pushing all those icons to center make no sense. such small change and it have bigger impact on smoothness of experience than any other change...

If you try to run Windows, it's battery life drops to the level of other windows laptops.
Also its buggy and 60% of stuff that works on natives window's doesn't work because of architectural issues.

GVS, 25 Jun 2021Only devices with tpm 1.2 and above can upgrade. Most older... moreMicro$oft will not be so dumb to leave away the many devices and computers that run with an old CPU. There are a ton, and all those devices running on Celeron or Pentium hardware.
But as many, this Windows 11 is simply stupid when they made those dumb claims that Windows 10 will be the last. Also, this is just a graphical update, no real thing under the hood which makes me think that this update is useless.
On Windows 7, I would still be able to do lots of things that Windows 11 can do like watch videos, browse Internet, play games etc. So Microsoft must amp their game when talking about major updates.

I hope those rounded corners only applies to non-maximized windows, just like on Win XP or 7. MaOS Big Sur failed to do it the right way and it really annoys me.

Windows 11 supports only from Intel 8th gen processors and above. A lot of windows 10 devices running below 8th gen processors will be left out
