OxygenOS was the strongest aspect for me as a user to buy OnePlus which give the nearest experience to stock googleOS. It appears I'll be looking else where for another hardware specially you prices are not reasonable recently.

Anonymous, 20 Sep 2021They're still a OS just a very very modified form Why the hell android needs modification?

meanwhile here I am waiting for one ui 4.0 to be fully developed. currently there's a beta for s21 only.

redmiNote10, 20 Sep 2021As an MIUI user, MIUI is crap.Using Mi 9T with MIUI 12.1 Android 11 here and my experience with MIUI for the last 2 years not really that bad. Then again everyone has different opinion, so for you MIUI might be bad but I see there are also users that like MIUI. Personally, I think MIUI is a rough gem that need polishing by further improving optimisation. Not yet considered as good as OneUI (I am also using Samsung A52 btw) but not as bad as Funtouch from Vivo (I had pretty horrible experience of using X21).

Back in January, Oneplus basically lied that OxygenOS will stay just to calm the backlash from users. They already planned to merge ColorOS and OxygenOS at least since last year.

Couldn't care less. As long as OnePlus keeps doing its magic to get their phones *officially* supported in LOS, I'll keep buying them. The Nords that aren't supported are completely off my radar, and so will the "flagship" phones if this policy changes.

AnonD-864404, 20 Sep 2021Yes, but somehow... they just want to hide 'Android... moreAren't they all by bolting tacky fancy names for what's essentially just a launcher with bunch of features bolted on top of... Android?

Vic4BBM, 20 Sep 2021Hehehe it could be named coloxy or say oxycol or just somet... moreSo Color OS and Oxygen OS are going to be merged in one unified OS

It can be called Clorox OS and since the new OS will be better it is possible that it is completely bug-free cause as you know the Clorox killed all the bugs in it

P.S Oxygen and Colors both are awesome and currently using a OnePlus phone and I really like the software in it

What about merging Realme UI into the same family so it gets more polished?
