Fast-charging information would also need to be clearly provided on all electronics sold in the EU.

If it is about waste, how the mentioned directions will solve the charging question? Everything that consumes power needs to be charged. It does not matter how. Phones with no chargers how would solve the charging question? I don't get it.

If I buy a new phone and then USB-C PD will be the standard, my old USB chargers will be waste - it does not help in any way. I will just need to buy new charger. But it does not mean that I will have only one for my laptop, phone, watch, etc... What if I have multiple rooms? I am in the office, school, anywhere? I should carry the only one charger everywhere?

In my opinion, they should include laptops in this as well. Even gaming notebooks usually come with a power source in the 60-90W range.

EU is trying to make users save money when they force u to buy a charger if ur charger stops working or if u sell it. Very dumb move. Esp after EU wanted 7 years of updates and now removing charger from box and limiting charging speed? It's like EU users are forced to live under certain rules and this could hurt manufacturers alot especially apple

Every vendor is trying to implement the fastest charging possible albeit with their own proprietary solutions. They're not implementing it for USB PD which seems to be limited to 18w - 33w fast charging for smartphones.
