While it operates on similar principles, this new tech has two major features that make it more efficient.

I play free fire on 60 hz refresh rate120 hz touch samspling potato chip and yet I can still play as good as I am in the game (I kinda suck tho since im not so experienced). So if ur a pro then u can definitely play any game without having disadvantages of lag.

Anonymous, 05 Nov 2021Exactly. There's a ton of games on pc/consoles. You... moreCross platform games are a thing, if you haven't noticed. In fact, the demo used in the video is Genshin Impact, a game that's on console, PC and mobile. Is a person not allowed to buy a good gaming phone because they want to be able to continue their game "on the road"?

People who actually care about their money will make an informed decision in regards to what phone to buy. It's not always children wanting to play games on their phones. Choosing based on chipset is your best bet. Sometimes it's marketed as a "gaming phone", sometimes it's not. It doesn't matter. However, gaming phones do tend to focus the money spent on the device on improving the gaming experience. So better cooling, mild "overclocking" if you could call it that, a tendency to ship with higher than average RAM capacities, and a tendency to cut costs by using a more affordable camera sensor, because a good camera is not the primary objective.

And to the people that are saying that smartphone CPUs are inefficient: wrong. The whole point is for it to be as power efficient as possible. If a phone used an active cooler similar to those found it PCs, it would run a lot cooler than most desktop CPUs. The reason chipsets get hot is because it's struggling to get the heat away from itself, and thus it compounds on itself. Passive cooling isn't easy.

To the idiot who says temperature has zero effect on battery life: also very wrong. Batteries degrade much faster if they run hot. Battery capacity (the charge) on the other hand, reduces the lower the temperature, but conversely the battery life (the years it will last) increases. There is an optimum working temperature for batteries that needs to be struck. That's why Tesla's cool their batteries, but actually require heating in some cases as well.

The kind of people that do not even play games on their phone or play Candy Crush are the ones to say that. All you look for is performance gains over regular phones, but a gaming phone is more than that. It is just that the amount of differences do not matter to amateur or just casual gamers

Also had those ancient handheld ones which ran on batteries, and had a very basic screen. So I can definitely tell if gaming phones are any good, and they indeed are

Anonymous, 05 Nov 2021Xperia Pro has graphite, copper and vapor chamber. I know but it doesn't help it at all - it's one of the worst overheating-offenders.

Just use blackshark Funcooler, it used Peltier or thermoelectro cooling.
It is so cold and icy and give more stable play. Suitable for every smartphone and cheap.

The downside is, it will make the phone not light when you hold it.

Because if phone loses heat slowly, heat remain longer there.
Which increases whole temperature inside the phone including battery.

Phones last longer on very cold days. You can ask someone who lives in very hot locations. Phones use more battery on hot environments.
