For example myself i dont use laptop screen, always i use external gaming monitor to play my games, so laptop screen dont matter.

And mini Led is Just lcd and has lot of problems including bleeding light like ipads, those display are no where near oled panels in windows laptop. Apple choose them because they are cheaper than Oled, and you fanboys will praise them anyway.

              As the anonymous user already pointed out, the images are processed one by one in the photo export tests. Unlike in video exports, having 32GB or 64GB of RAM wouldn't matter significantly in this case.

                Apple never aimed their products for so-called "gamers", and that's pretty damn clear looking at how poorly optimised games are for MacOS and what kind of hardware acceleration blocks M1 Pro/Max are equipped with.

                  MacOS has always being the go to for developers and professional first, gaming second.

                  Because it can run all kinds of IDEs and programs, ssh to linux servers and manage Window servers. You can develop Mac apps / iOS apps via xcode, Android apps via android studio, intellij for java, Windows apps via msdn using parallels. It is the bread and butter for these professionals. Not to mention creative professionals.

                  And when it comes to rest and relaxation, they can play some games, in the past it was hamstring by intel’s cpus. Now they can even enjoy aaa games.

                    You can get used mac for as cheap as $100 if they were superior to windows laptop then windows wouldnt have over 80% marketshare, Even poor Chromebook start to outsell macbook, very few people Are comfortable in close eco system.

                      Those Windows machines runs like jet engines.
                      Those Windows machines need huge power bricks.
                      Those Windows machines need to be constantly plug in to maintain performance.
                      Those Windows machines are backbreakers.
                      Those Windows machines lacks instant on.
                      Those Windows machine only run windows and maybe linux via vm. MacOS have options for iOS, android, Windows arm, Linux.. basically all known productivity apps, and games at respectable speed.

                      And given the huge audience, means that people can share their experiences and support on the MBP. These Windows laptops, hard to get like minded people for supporting any bugs and quirks..

                        M1 max is equivalent to rtx 3060 to 3080 depend with task.

                        -Gtx 1650 laptop start around $600 (equivalent perfomance from Apple $2500)
                        -rtx 3060 laptop start around $1000
                        -rtx 3070 laptop around $1400
                        -rtx 3080 laptop around $2000 (equivalent of these is M1 max which start at $3500)

                        And as i told you in previous comment things like ssd you can upgrade, i can buy not 1TB but 2TB nvme ssd with dram for less than $200, Because Mac are not upgrade friendly doesnt make mandatory to Buy Laptop for $6000 with 8TB ssd and 64GB ram.

                            As i told you in last Comment GtX 1650 laptop start around $600 and they are Equivalent of M1 pro.

                            Rtx 3060 to 3070 around $1300 which can rival M1 max, if you want some extra features like 4k oled screen you can pay more but its Not mandatory.

                            And beauty of windows you can upgrade ram, Ssd and other things.

As I pointed out earlier, the highest MSI laptop for i9 12900HK is USD5300.

                                Keep dreaming that windows laptops can outdo the M1 Max for half or 1/3 the price. Hahahahahaha

                                The leak I sent is for the i7 12700H and the i9 12900HK chip. If you think lower end offerings has that kind of performance, then it's a really good thing that you're not running Intel.

                                    The 8cx will be an excellent SoC for 90% of people. The SQ2 is quite decent too, actually. The real problem is Windows on Arm, not the hardware
