You're including way too many "probably" in your statements and making your own argument a very unreliable one (like how you're somehow assuming the hardware acceleration hasn't been used, or MSI Creator 17 is thermally limited, either of which is unfounded). You also seem to miss the biggest highlight of the comparison, the battery drain chart, where MBP easily dominates.

Other companies can... moreThey don't need it, they don't care and they aren't sneaky by nature, because they care about an open market and open standards, not like the closed apple garden who always has to find more sneaky ways to lure more clueless people in. With high success as you can see, unfortunately. Trillion dollar company. No wonder they can now offer a competitive cpu. Just imagine what Qualcomm, AMD or Intel could offer with that buttload of money which apple is probably burning for their in-house chip development.

This is my personal opinion, but I found Premiere Pro for macOS to be somewhat too cluttered. But then again, that could be due to macOS's not-so-brilliant window manager. Windows has a much better window management system than macOS if you ask me.

What they compared is 64 GB RAM equipped M1 Max vs 32 GB equipped Intel, 64 GB shared video memory vs 16 GB VRAM, laughable. There are Win Notebooks with more VRAM with quadro or firepro GPUs.
What they compared are optimized h265/h264 etc. encoders for the m1 series, vs slow ass off the shelf encoders which adobe probably never optimized for Intel/AMD/Nvidia, because they weren't forced by a company like apple. They probably didn't even enable CUDA for half of the tools they used for their comparisons.

That's one way you can "cripple" the comparison by choosing a test that Windows excels at and MacOS doesn't due to lack of development.

T... moreYeah basically apple fanboys set up their videos in such a way to cripple the Windows competition by using another codec or not involving the RTX GPUs properly. Max Tech is a prime example of this.
And Geekbench is fake because nobody is going to run workloads performed by that test. Check out FPS in games and video exporting times, performance in CAD tests because that's what matters. Also Windows VMs again don't tell the whole story, that they're subject to crashing due to wrong hypervisor configs and many apps straight up refusing to launch on VMs in the first place, let alone VMs ran via ARM CPUs, like this Snapdragon or the M1 Max.
So yeah Apple fanboys are spreading misinformation on multiple levels ... just like they did with the PowerPC arhitecture.

After all, Adobe themselves reworked their software to work natively with Apple's M1 chipset. No surprise there, if you ask me.

If you consider *that* to be "terrible" then the rest of the mobile GPU will be ranging from "laughable" to "downright atrocious".

If you mention desktop chips, you also have to take current ones into account. You can't beat physics. Desktop chips will always be faster, if they are from the similar year.
The m1 pro max fully loaded isn't that far off from desktop tdp by the way. If you double the cores/performance, power draw and heat generated will already be comparable to the desktop department.
