Apple tells US Senate that sideloading apps is unsafe

Cupertino urges Senate to reject an antitrust bill that will allow iPhone users to download apps not on App Store.

      of course it can be unsafe ....BUT that is for the user to decide NOT apple! and should anything happen to the device if an app is sideloaded then that is the USERS fault and should be expressed in the T&C of usage, I hate how controlling apple are of my products, they tell me how I must use my device, it should be ME in control of my device.

It doesn't matter whose responsibility is. The point is that that thoughtless advice may make all consumers suffer in the end.

              I don't know what you're talking about regarding disturbing people who buy Apple products. When people criticize Apple or its products, how does that have anything to do with Apple users? If you're an Apple user and you get disturbed when people criticize Apple, it's your issue and you should fix that. Apple isn't your boss. There is absolutely no need to get offended for them. Anyway, I don't see any comment in this comment section that attacks Apple users.

                              Also, if another product is not better for you then find the one that is better, or create it yourself, or support those who will; or unite all countries in one communist society, eliminate capitalism and force all companies to fulfill the will of the people (unironically, a solid option) - again, why disturbing people who buys Apple devices for what they are? Some people (not even majority) buy them for whatever reasons, but it's their business, not anyone else's, isn't it?

                                  Thank you again, Captain Obvious. That doesn't explain why Apple should be forced to allow sideloading, especially when there's Android for that.

                                    MacOS isn't like this, but okay, Apple. This is why I'll never go back using iOS. Apple is very anti-consumer. We can't even use third-party repairs because they don't want us to have our freedom.

                                      Apple, stop the cap. You just want your 30% cut from sales...
