I remember back when bigger screens were never the future of iPhones lol I give it 4 years for the most before we see it. Besides the iPhone 4 is already the "cheap" iPhone hahahaha

Their politic was always: Never move to China. But, the mediocre market forced them in the end, to move to China. Ok, not all Nokia factories. There are still Hungary and Finland factories. There is also Motorola who still manufactures a big part of their phones in the USA. Ok, not quite big! But Other Manufacturers? All factories are in China. So, all are made in a low cost way. Some are in a very low cost. I won't say names... You can find them when touching and feeling how low cost a device can be:)).

Why should they????, there are enough of ......out there to buy iPhones at higher prices. (have to be fair, it is a good phone though)

Look at ip5 dimension, then look at all existing phones of that dimension, you will find that ip5 is actually very good spec'ed compared to those phones!
One way is to look at ip5 vs s2 (whereby s2 is slightly bigger)
Even in the laptop/ultra book range.. apple still lead in terms of pricing as well as hardware specs. Most ultrabooks near the range of macbook air cannot compare in terms of price (their ssd most of the case are lower)
The main reason that apple is able to sell @ that price, is because it is worth it. Else they won't be making profit would they?

In case you havent noticed, iphone 5 cost $199! Its already dead cheap, its not about money but about iphone being useless, a competitor to Nokia Asha series. Asha is already cheap even if sim free off contract, why dont we buy it? Its better than iphone in many ways, it doesnt require itunes or other weird things to be used, but still we dont buy it because they are just as useless as iphone.

All these fighting are equal to shit. Apple makes cheap smartphones already. It's obvious cuz Apple uses China for their productions. They have a very huge profit from every handset. Although they can sell their product for a reasonable price they won't do because of their sales. Why people buy them? Because people think Apple is selling high quality products judging for their prices and external appearance. The bad guy here is Apple. They can reduce their prices bit they do not. So people have been deceived by a fraud. Sad situation it is. But once they use an android smartphone they know their prices are rational to their specs. So they know although it is cheap they get everything for what they pay...

A real tech. guy will never buy apple products. Just cause he doesn't need this kind of mediocre stuff;). Apple creates for the average user. The one who doesn't care why it works, how it works, why it doesn't work (not that he will ever know that). Doesn't care when losses signal (this is a "premium" device, they know what they are doing: I have the best phone! his mind states). Or when his out of battery. This are the customers apple is aiming. keep it simple and quick, left, right, up, down. Done. Now, a pc maniac, a tech guy, a gadget lover. Will probably have a self made gaming rig and a Nokia in his pocket. Or at least an android.

That's good. Only cheap companies make cheap phones. Only he I haters will deny this. Feel the s3. Now feel the ip5. The s3 feels like a 700 dollar piece of garbage. They also forgot to mention that he said apple also has 75 percent of the profit margins. Lol

Just like a beautiful photograph or well-made painting give a meaning to a cheap frame, iPhone is that cheap frame.
It is because iPhone is a cheap phone from day one. How cheap it can go more from this point, Cheap quality, cheap software (OS) functions, cheap fraud company. The only thing that is not cheap is the developers making apps to keep that cheap thing a powerful shiny image.

Apple won't make cheap iPhone, not now not ever. Having their symbol on a product means your having a premium product. The ipad mini is not about lower price but lower size. They may make a new category in their product, but don't expect their symbol on a cheap product
