I hope they can do something about the front facing camera. There are many complaints. It's not a bad camera at all but it's definitely not on par with the back cameras.
Other than that they should not change much. Sony have found its signature design and they should stick with it. Nothing wrong with the design. In fact it's quite beautiful.

This was a rumour spread, just like many other about Sony Xperia. This was because Sony was the top selling smartphone company back in 2013-14 era. So obviously people gonna say a lot pf missinformation.
Sony phones are what? Back? Last I checked Xperia 1 had everything all the other phones have, plus a headphone jack, msd slot, front facing stereo speakers. These are additions other phones lack.
Xperia phones are full packaged deals, unlike other phones that lack these features.
Since we are on the subject though, please enlighten us on what's behind the competition.

With typical Sony price it will be DOA.
For 1/3 of the Sony price Nubia red magic 7 with far better specs is for sale.

Apart from the Xperia phones previously mentioned by someone, don't forget the PlayStation 4 and the Nissan 400Z (a stretch, I know).

And let's not forget all the years they had self cracking screens that would kill the touch with the tiniest of hairline. Or the sudden death motherboard issue that was widespread on their phones for years.
That customer care would just say go buy parts on amazon.
