        Samsung has promised four years of OS updates for the S22 line. Who even keeps their phone that long anyway?
        S22+ has slim symmetrical bezels, small punch hole, fingerprint ID, face recognition, Always-On Display, Samsung DeX, Secure Folder, more customization and usability...

          Part of the reason why many will steer clear of the otherwise excellent underlying hardware platform in iPhone SE (2022), IS the display size, display resolution, and bezels. It feels like this phone has been accurately positioned to validate and help people make the decision of rather buying the vanilla iPhone 13.

          It doesn't make sense if the platform is relevant for the next 7 years, if it doesn't conform to the design trends and expectations in people's minds. Then, the extra $70 makes more sense.

            iPhone SE from 2016 is still receiving updates, true, but the phone is barely usable in 2022 (battery wise). And is the same with iPhone 6s, 7 and even 8 to some extent.
            Bottom line, software updates from Apple are very nice and long, but not all the time are ok for the older generation of iPhones. So, in a way is marketing too or for image purposes.
            Also, lets be honest, who uses an iPhone 6s or SE1 in 2022 as their main phone? Maybe just people who want the very basic stuff from a phone.

                SE (2022) is definitely not a good value considering iPhone 11 is still selling on Apple official website + it's just $500 which is $70 more than SE. Better chipset or not, iPhone 11 chipset works just fine. SE (2022) will be at least 500€ in my country which is more expensive than iPhone 11 or XR and iPhone 12 is about 600€ so it's just pointless buying SE in my country. Not to mention that iPhone 11/12 have better batteries and modern-like design, but if people really prefer old design than full screen ones then it's understandable.

                  It has a 16:9 display. Only if It was 5.5"

                      My little experience with iOS made me vow never to make an iPhone a main drive phone (if at all,I'm ok with their processing)

                      So don't even think of comparing the Sammy top dog to any slab around,for now Samsung only had issues with poor CPU managed chipset availability and once the score is settled I don't think iphones won't have the chance to compete

                        I never said that it's not powerful. But it's like someone's giving you a supercar and tells you it has 1000hp, BUT you can only drive it with 50miles/hour. Anything above that and you can't drive in manual mode let's say, but you're a professional driver. How would you feel about that? Would you still want to drive it in a real race?

                              (the SE is the last one on the market)

                                If I have that much money I'd better take the XS Max and yes, if I add a little more I get an iPhone 11. It's better everywhere. The A12 and A13 are still very capable.

Yh A15 is most powerful smartphone chip but in terms of os, android offers way more functionality and versatility so that is a minus for apple. It is not the most powerful os when it can't do a lot of basic things android does.

                                    I, am, sorry, how is this piece of $h!t an upgrade? Upgrade from what? A landline?
