The A Series is mostly to blame.

sn20933, 23 Jun 2022Some time ago a Samsung executive said by removing the head... moreThat is a lie. Samsung does not need to remove the headphone jack to fit 100 more mAh. The Sony Xperia 10 IV has a 5000mAh battery even with the headphone jack. Samsung just wants to sell their overpriced wireless S Buds.

Many reviewers stress that a huge selling point for new Samsung devices are years and years of security and Android updates. They also stress that this intrinsic feature costs money and is factored in the price which is why the price to performance ratio is so low.

The majority of buyers, especially the lower midrange and midrange (the A series), do not care about these at all. The phone can work perfectly even without years of updates. I am still running Android 10 from a mid-2018's midranger and have experienced no security issues whatsoever.

What do you expect when you take away features that are important to budget users and introduce new ones when the target segment does not care about? Do you think that A series buyers will spend hundreds on TWS?

T4techdroid , 23 Jun 2022did you know samsung a53 , a73 had 5 year of software suppo... moreWhat are you going to do with all the updates when those low end soc's start to lag and stutter in a year or two. Hell my mate's a73 stutters now while running 3-4 apps simultaneously. Doesn't happen on my 11t pro which cost less.

Anonymous, 22 Jun 2022I don't think that audio jack and memory expansion is ... moreI'm not entirely sure about that. When Xiaomi dropped the headphone jack for the Poco F3, suddenly the Poco F2 Pro is in hot demand. Price tag is one thing, hardware feature is a completely different story altogether.

jeremy, 23 Jun 2022The old models were much better. Samsung must think we are ... moreAnd yet if you read the comments on this site about headphone jack and microSD card, all the sheeps would call them outdated and irrelevant. True tech enthusiasts never even think about such worthless statement at all.

Though A series phones are highly priced ,they don't have good hardware and speakers,no phone case, supports 25 Watts charging but u give 20 watts charger, now you don't even give charger, increase phone thickness while other phones with this price range provide flagship features. Samsung phones are not good for gaming as well.samsung cheats people by just making small changes and launching them as a new devices will definitely impact the user attention towards the brand.so this is the reason for the remaining stock .
"The brand should reduce phone prices and also improve the performance and camera because other brands in this price range are launching better devices than Samsung "

Remove the headphone jack, remove the charger and still expect People to buy midrange phones at high price. I don't think they have stockpile problem, they have priority issues. At that price point they need to match the features too.

You buy a Samsung phone and you are not given a screen protector, phone cover and also no hands free is provided for the buyer as many other other brands does .
Most especially your phone 📱 prices are always to high with lower battery 🔋 capacity.

What do you expect when you push a new generation which is actually a downgrade vs. the old one, but costs more ?
A72 had an optical telephoto camera, A73 has no optical telephoto, A53 is actually a worst buy than A52s. All are coming at higher prices.
Glad to see than consumers are no swallowing it unchewed.

Samsung midrange fones looks like very cheap and inexpensive their display look ugly. There specs are nowhere near chinese ones. They feel like knockoffs.
I think time has come for them to realise that they should forget about charging premium otherwise we will have another nokia lg and sony.

boyango, 22 Jun 2022..too many models 🤔Well you haven't see what Xiaomi has done. They keep launching a new phone with recycled hardware from previous generation models while giving ridiculous slogan or tagline like it's the next big thing.

                              1. Law of demand - "The higher the price, the lower the demand and vise versa"

                              Galaxy S22 ultra costs $1200 (Google pixel 6 costs $600, OnePlus 10R

Samsung now is not what it used to be earlier. The product quality is very much low. The Customer Support is horrible nowadays. I have been a Samsung user for decades right from Button phone. I have very pleasant memories of Samsung those days. But after a few bad experiences recently, taking it up with Samsung people and not getting any response, I have given up. Nowadays I don't recommend Samsung at all. Not only me, but many early users of Samsung mobiles have the same experience. Feeling sad that a very good producer is going down the drain because of inefficient and ineffective people.

Some time ago a Samsung executive said by removing the headphone jack they could put in 100mAh more battery capacity and a stronger vibration device. To read this was one of the saddest moments in my mobile phone history...

Samsung should focus on reducing their prices, there is a lot of other alternative phones with greater specs with lower price.
