If you look at the progression from day the sagem or Nokia bricks of the late 90's early 2000's to what we see today, I think it's something that could have been envisaged. Now they are struggling. With the limitations of the mobile phone form factor, this thing has to fit in the pocket, I can't see much scope for innovation. Folding phones, flip phones. They're really reaching. The biggest innovation would be graphene batteries which would last years and years and are very possible but the manufacturers won't do it because they don't really want long lasting phones.

China/India is so huge costumer base that Xiaomi and BBK could easily survive just selling in these 2 markets.

I mean, nobody gives a rat's a... if arpple goes down, besides its fanatic fans and their zero knowlege about technology or innovation. If anything goes down, when apple cracks, would be the lack of innovation. That part will probably hit back on track, apple made them all lazy when seeing that doing nothing but marketing and stealing brings them money. Gaming industry ? Wait what? 98% of the games role on PC and 100% on gaming platforms: Playstation, nintendo, xbox. Apple, really? Their world makes the fan brains go slower and slower until everthing's an apple, pretty much like a fairtale. Whats next? Apple invented the earth? There would be no apples without apple? If you wnat water, buy an iphone?

Not... moreforgot to add this in my previous comment, but there's the SE3 in the sub-$500 category for those really desperate for ios/iphone, but I'd anyday advise going with the SE2 instead (despite the horrid battery life for non-casual user, but little would they know if they r coming from a previous iphone with already bad/degraded battery life) for much cheaper (or higher storage, 64GB in 2022, pathetic, lol, especially since as the saying goes-"ppl keep their iphones for longer")
