If OnePlus can sell the 10T at the starting price of $599, that could be one heck of a steal. That'd be $300 less than the 10 Pro.

Care is the one keeps customer loyal, but not to attract new ones. New customers mostly won't care, they might buy once, get disappointed, and move along. And now, loyal customers will be gone too, and so will the brand. Rip OnePlus, you only manage to get to 10 to show your true self, that you're actually oppo all along.

Someone at OnePlus ne... moreNokia does not make phones.
Btw, Oppo/OnePlus are forbidden to sell in Germany already because Nokia 5G patents they did not pay.
Nokia may try to have both kicked out from whole Europe.

Hot take or not, every word is true.
Someone at OnePlus needs to read that.
Nokia kinda is in the same boat right now.
Relying on hype from legendary devices of the past, just to feed generic trash to their most loyals fans. Both HMD & OPPO are gonna milk that until there's nothing left.

DroitwichGas, 08 Aug 2022OP's demise is almost perfect timing for nothing to no... moreHold up let's use some critical thinking here
"Demise" ?
From a enthusiast origin standpoint sure..
Business wise not even close
We over here in the small tech space love to exaggerate or have a serious disconnect with reality
OnePlus is virtually the only Chinese brand that was allowed to enter the US market a considerable feat
And as much as we love to yell headphone jack SD card this and that out on the real world pushing out multiple devices with barely and difference actually sells well / is profitable

This article has captured the demise of OP so eloquently. A lovely read as I sipped my morning coffee. This line is gold. "But as the events themselves get bigger, the products somehow get less impressive".

It's upto BBK to decide which ones of their companies should shine now and they just decided that shouldn't shine anymore so they could bringing up new brands

Totally agree! It is what I am saying all the time. Thats why after six years of OnePlus phones I am moving away. The problem is that the number of options are very limited. The NottingPhone is still unproven and it might turn out to be a flop and the Pixel 6 is still lagging behind on some features (120Hz) and are widely unavailable.
