blue, 12 Aug 2022Why do you lie? iMessage does not lock anyone anywhere. The... moreI use an Android phone, and I don't have any problem. I don't care about it at all. I also have iPhone, but no SIM card installed in it. I used iMessage briefly years ago and I don't see what's the benefit of it. The whole blue and green bubbles, I even never heard of it only since the time articles like this got published in sites like this. It's all a bit exaggerated in my opinion. Mainly a North American issue. What do I care what colour bubbles have? If people care, they have some serious mental health issues I think.

Or the reality is,... moreNo, they aren't happy.
"iPhone users experience a downgrade in messaging by reverting to the decades-old standards: SMS for messages and MMS for video and photos. This means there are no typing or delivery notifications, messages are not securely transmitted, all while images and videos are compressed to pixelated messes."

Some of us still refer to it as the Alliance, but that's more of a nugget of history when Europe and the US had different systems (and a testament to how ancient I am following this industry) than anything else.

The... moreYou must be the one in the early 2000s making the argument that Microsoft Internet Explorer did not lock anyone anywhere. There were other browsers, and all were cross-platform. Microsoft Internet Explorer just improved the experience for Microsoft Windows users. It's not Microsoft's problem or Windows user's problem, they had the best experience. The problem is on macOS side.
