        Chipset are getting more expensive
        5G still expensive
        AMOLED 120hz screens(without green tint) are expensive and now people want them brighter wich means more money
        Bigger battery means more money
        Better cooling system means more money
        Higher resolution sensor means more money, yeah higher resolution or people don't buy.
        Adapt the UI to new android features means more money
        Those 400-500$ flagship killers are just an old dream

Plenty of people play ps2 games and others, the emulation community is large and thriving. What ps2 games might lack in graphics they make up in gameplay and story, as a result of being a finished artistic product, not a service, as games are today, soulless exploitative efforts made to extract as much money as possible out of you, with everything else being a second thought. The smartphone industry doesn't have a Metal Gear Solid equivalent, for example.

            So understand that you are not the standard for anything, but just another market segment, and if you don't value or enjoy these games because you're superficial and adhd-ridden, there are people (better than you, people that actually enjoy games as a medium rather than a commerce) that do.

Like, why put useless 2Mpix macro when they could use the cost of it to use better ultra wide. Hell, I lived just fine without ANY ultra wide all these years. I only had regular camera which was pretty decent and that was it.

                        With ps2 you can play games which are not available in store like FFXII.

                          Its probably an amazing chip but Mediatek is well known for cheating in benchmarks so take it with a grain of salt.

                              Same to $200 to $300 sd 778G is better soc.

                              The only market where Mtk is better is upper midrange to highend, Something like dimensity 1200, 8100 etc Snapdragon doesnt have much in that category only Sd870 which is kind of Old if you compare it to D8100.

Same with Etaprime you can watch their chanels but dont rely on them 100%. If you want accurate informations on emulation check dolphin forum, gbatemp, reedit r/emulationonandroid etc.

                                Also you didnt look carefull, even with Techutopia D9000 struggle a lot, this is good video example from sep 2022 full of lag in SMO
