Apple doesn't have work to do. All they know is just blaming other people to make money.

US patent system is being abused. Company can apply patent just by showing concept on paper. I think it should at least come out a prototype.

The US patent office is a very questionable organization!Repeatedly it has allowed many Apple invalid patents to be filed!

The first law of US patent office is: The application (for a patent) must not be obvious to someone familiar in the art.
In granting patents, it appears that the patent officers have not read their own laws. As a result many patents are an obvious next step of a previous development. So lets thank the courts for bringing sanity back to the patent office. And I am not for or against Apple.

Slide to unlock was a pretty stupid patent to start with. I always thought this should be invalidated.
The same goes for searching multiple sources using the application. It is a simple concept of an integrated search engine and calls for no patent. Their body design is a patent for sure and I accept it. Also, apple has done several other technologies that are very well recognized as their valid patents, but these two always bugged as kind of lame to be patented and then to have a patent war based on these, on top of everything.
I hope these two patents are invalidated all over the world for them.

The iPod was not the first mobile mp3 player. I had Archos Player before the iPod came out. Also the only good thing about the iPod was the turn wheel allowed faster music selection. Other mp3 players were cheaper higher capacity and more feature rich. The same is now true of mobile phones and computers & laptops.

RejZoR, 05 Apr 2013Stylus was NEVER a requirement. All screens that used stylu... moreThat's what I'm talking about. Without stylus you can tap the screen accurately, thus stylus is required. Unlike today, no need of stylus at all, only fingers. And with old days resisitive touchscreen phones combined with the old OS, there are no such swiping or gesture navigation methods only tap, tap, and dragging the scroll bar using stylus.
NB: S Pen isn't a stylus.
